Robot hoover, best thing ever!

XenoBitch · 01/04/2024 21:14

My air fryer, and Oculus quest

TitaniasAss · 01/04/2024 21:14

Well I bought an air fryer today so I'm hoping that is life changing!

PotatoPudding · 01/04/2024 21:15

I got a heat pump dryer (my first ever dryer) 2.5 years ago and it literally changed my life. I can do bigger wash loads because I don’t have to worry about where to hang everything. I can get more washing done in a day. My towels are super fluffy. I don’t have a house full of laundry. It’s amazing.

MoonlightMemories · 01/04/2024 21:19

Robot vacuum and a countertop dishwasher (I live in a flat without room for a normal-sized one) and I don't know why I didn't get them sooner - they've both made my life an awful lot easier, especially with working full-time in a very physical demanding job.

Mrsjayy · 01/04/2024 21:23

My Dishwasher I.love mine and don't know what I'd do without it, Dh obsesses about loading it properly so I don't even have to load it 😃 also my tumble dryer It gets me through the winter !

OfDragonsDeep · 01/04/2024 21:24

Yes to Dishwasher, also Robot Hoover, Superking bed and Lumea

JMSA · 01/04/2024 21:24

Old school here, but my washing machine. I couldn't be without it. God forbid my teens should have to use a towel or wear a hoodie more than once Wink

OfDragonsDeep · 01/04/2024 21:26

Oh and my Garmin watch, I love tracking my walks and runs

SergeantDawkins · 01/04/2024 21:27

Robot vacuum (Eufy) is 2nd place but number 1 is a Meaco dehumidifier, we get a lot of condensation and used to struggle with mould on walls and this winter we have had none!!

AgentJohnson · 01/04/2024 21:28

I love my dishwasher, AEG cordless vacuum cleaner, Kärcher portable steamer (with window and floor attachments) and Ninja double basket air fryer. I hate, hate, hate cleaning, any appliance that makes me want to clean is a winner. If anybody could recommend an electric scrubber, I would be eternally grateful.

SophiaElise · 01/04/2024 21:30

Dishwasher and heat pump dryer for me, as I previously lived in a flat with no space for them.

Cindy1802 · 01/04/2024 21:32

Super king bed! I love having my own space to sleep and my 6ft 3 husband made that difficult in a double or king. Best thing we ever bought!

Screamingabdabz · 01/04/2024 21:33

Nespresso sage machine. I would marry it if I could! 😆

GeordieLass02 · 01/04/2024 21:33

Roborock vac and mop - empties itself! Also have a eufy upstairs.

smart plugs.

NahNeedsGarlic · 01/04/2024 21:34

Nespresso machine and iPhone.
Sadly I don’t yet have a dishwasher but it’s on the list!

SamBeckett · 01/04/2024 21:35

Like pp , I love my robot vac .

@MoonlightMemories I have been thinking about getting a worktop dishwasher but I am a bit sceptical. Are they good ?

Hopebrown · 01/04/2024 21:36

Dishwasher
Heat pump tumble dryer
Ninja airfryer
Samsung washing machine which I can turn on via my phone an hour before i leave work ready to put in dryer when i get home!

Reallyyyyy want a robot hoover too at some point!

@SergeantDawkins Which meaco dehumidifier? This is next on my list but I am unsure between the arete or low energy one?

SidekickSylvia · 01/04/2024 21:37

1 - Phillips Lumea, I've gone from shaving my spiky legs every week to removing a couple of patches of soft down twice a year. I don't even take a razor on holiday any more.

I was a bit sceptical too as I hadn't heard about them until someone I work with mentioned they have one. Obviously you can't fit as much in it as you can a regular one so sometimes you have to run a few washes if you have a lot of washing up but I find the 1 hour wash cycle on mine is sufficient for most dishes and that it cleans them really well.

It also uses a lot less water vs handwashing - my water usage has gone down about 15% since I got mine in December.

Living the dream!
Am I right I'm thinking that these can't be used on blondes?

HearMeSnore · 01/04/2024 21:43

This is going back a bit, but I honestly believe that if it hadn't been for the invention of the SatNav, I would be divorced by now.

Car journeys to anywhere unfamiliar were a nightmare. We'd always get lost, whoever was driving would inevitably blame whoever was navigating, and we'd be barely speaking by the time we arrived.

That little electronic voice in a box has restored harmony. Trips away are now the pleasure that they should be.

Topseyt123 · 01/04/2024 21:43

Definitely the dishwasher for me. I also couldn't live without the washing machine and the tumble dryer even though the latter only gets occasional use. 😃

Sunnyday777 · 01/04/2024 21:44

Ninja air fryer - fab piece of kit, not had the oven on since I bought it.
ghd’s - couldn’t live without them
Linked to hair but more of a product than appliance, Answr straightening treatment - it’s changed my life frizz wise, no more stressing with a bit of drizzle or sweating in summer which would cause my hair to curl
Finally, dishwasher for me too. I got one last spring and oh my goodness I LOVE it!! I can’t believe all the washing up I used to do by hand and the time I wasted on it.
