Does it bother you? I have a semi famous DH, he gets paid to gig and go on podcasts etc if we go out locally he does get asked for selfies so we tend to go away for weekends as a family.

I do find it slightly annoying but I guess it pays the bills 💃

My husband is not famous, just a driving instructor. He is the 3rd best driving instructor in Wales (he doesn't tell anyone but I do!) 🤣 I'm so proud 🥲 he is always being beeped at, and regularly stopped by past students, parents of students etc.

He was approached by bbc radio Wales to do a piece on driving tests last Tuesday, but we were on holiday in Cornwall and didn't have any signal 🤦😂

I'm in a local band and have performed with them at several festivals and charity events - got one of those 'Artist' wristbands and everything. Free bottles of water and bags of crisps after coming off stage - it's heady stuff.

I think these threads are all so bloody pointless and tedious because no one will ever say who the famous person was/is, so anyone could just make it up. The posts taking the piss are quite amusing though.

There's a DJ guy in my home town, (does weddings and used to do hospital radio) and everyone in town knows who he is. He's given himself a 'wacky' nickname, is 'eccentric' in a 'I'm mad me!' Kind of way, and tends to walk into pubs with a 'party's here now folks' kind of attitude. Big fan of 'hilarious' t shirts and loud 'bants', but he buys a lot of drinks so people put up with him. Does that sound like him OP? If so, yes, I can reliably confirm, he's famous in our town!

I'm not jealous, a close family member is internationally famous and it's a ball ache when they want to do something normal.
