To call out 1 of the other school mums

We're all in a school Mums WhatsApp group and we're trying to organise a leaving party for our year 6's. 8 of us want to do a disco type affair for everyone but this 1 mum is trying to organise a cinema trip and meal out for her DD and trying to entice other kids in. I'm absolutely raging. AIBU if I completely lose the plot and call her a cunt.

OP posts:

He normally gets over 4 figures per gig, he's doing this for 200 just cover time/expenses etc Anyway it's not about him it's about this other Mum trying to steal the limelight!

OMG is he Phats? Or Small? 🤩🤩🤩

Afraid they're stealing YOUr limelight more like. You don't sound old enough to have a Y6 child. Catch yourself on. 🤣🤣

The limelight?
It is a year 6 leaving party.
You need to get out more.

buswankerz · 29/03/2024 13:43

What do the kids want to do?

Can't you have both on different weekends and whoever shows shows?

AngelQuartz · 29/03/2024 13:46

MeadowL · 29/03/2024 12:53

My DH has already said he'll be the dj and has turned down other gigs to do this one, and he's doing it at cost price so he's going to be out of pocket too! Fuming 😠

That’s his own stupid fault then. Why has he committed to a gig that hasn’t been officially organised and got the go-ahead?

And as for wanting to publicly call another woman a ‘cunt’ for suggesting going to the cinema - you need to take a long hard look at your disgusting attitude. Grow the fuck up.

Oh, the irony...

If you're bored, go take a walk or something. This made up shite you're posting is pathetic.

The Guardian crosswords and Wordle are also great for distraction in case of bad weather 😂

MrsDeltaB · 29/03/2024 14:01

£200 would be enough to cover the ENTIRE cost! Food drinks, Photo Booth and accessories!

You are bang out of order and OH sounds pretentious

AffIt · 29/03/2024 14:02

Sounds like it's all going a bit Pete Tong...

Grow up. You sound more childish with every post. You are behaving like a 12 year old. I wouldn't want my child to have anything yo do with something that you had organised if this is how you behave.

Glitterbiscuits · 29/03/2024 14:08

I've got an old IPod and a Soundock.
I can do it
My charge is a bottle of Vimto and some glow sticks.

I'll turn down my Ibiza sets. I'm a bit bored with all the fame and fortune

SofaSpuds · 29/03/2024 14:11

She is stealing the limelight 😂😆

TempName247 · 29/03/2024 14:11

Not sure about your attitude but I don’t understand the point in a group cinema visit, a disco/party is much more suitable for a social get together.

Londonrach1 · 29/03/2024 14:13

The cinema trip sounds better idea. Ask the children as it's their leaving party not yours or the other mum. I know alot of Children would hate a disco.

Londonrach1 · 29/03/2024 14:15

Just read your update. Your dh can not and I mean it can not charge for this. It's a conflict of interest and you are putting yourself at risk of being accused of making money. Yabu.

Itsmychristmasdress · 29/03/2024 14:18

Amanda from motherland is that you?

lovehatelovehate · 29/03/2024 14:29

Jeezo, are there really adults who think like this? This is a pre-teen level of drama. This isn’t about you, though you clearly think otherwise as you want the “limelight”. Cringe.

MrsPoliportsGoose · 29/03/2024 14:34

How do people exist with this level of drama in their lives about nothing. Exhausting.
