If your neighbour went out in the car at this time would you think anything of it? Just for reference it's a close and most people have security lights and/or cameras

OP posts:
AdoraBell · 25/03/2024 21:42

I probably wouldn’t notice, why are you asking?

Teacupsandrollups · 25/03/2024 21:42

How would leaving your own home disturb the neighbourhood?
Are you actually on some sort of police enforced curfew, op? Confused
This is too weird for words.

SheepAndSword · 25/03/2024 21:43

I often go out at 9.30pm to pick up something from the supermarket before it shuts 🤷‍♀️ It's a nice walk.

The front door isn't noisy. No-one notices or cares. I even go out after 10pm occasionally to the supermarket 10 mins walk away which shuts 11pm.

If you need painkillers pick them up if somewhere is open. Do you mean you're driving? I can still hear cars. The buses stop 12.30am.

BirthdayRainbow · 25/03/2024 21:43

Even though I hear neighbours coming and going at all times it doesn't bother me so I'm wondering why you are stressing so much about this.

flapjackfun · 25/03/2024 21:44

Eh? I went out at 2am last night and didn’t even think about my neighbours. Sometimes I will feel a bit guilty if it’s cold and I need to defrost the car at that time.

mammaCh · 25/03/2024 21:44

This is a strange post.
Why would anyone think anyolf you going out? And if they did, why do you care?!

OwlCityisthemostunderrated · 25/03/2024 21:44

What goes this but have to do with anything? most people have security lights and/or cameras

CaterhamReconstituted · 25/03/2024 21:44

Perfect normal to go out at 9:30pm. You sound like a bored curtain-twitcher.

RoseBucket · 25/03/2024 21:45

🤣 you go for it op, go get that damn chocolate 💪🏻

Icehockeyflowers · 25/03/2024 21:45

9.30pm is not late?

Even if it was 4am, it’s your business and only yours?

MississippiAF · 25/03/2024 21:45

What’s it got to do with anyone what time you go out? This is weird.

Just live your life. If you see any curtain twitchers, give them a wave

Itiswhysofew · 25/03/2024 21:45

This is a first🤔Why is it unusual to leave your home at that time of day?

EmilyPlay · 25/03/2024 21:46

Unless you are planning to go marching down the street playing a one man band, no one will notice or care.

Imamumgetmeoutofhere · 25/03/2024 21:46

I wouldn't even know if my neighbours went out at night. Our blinds are shut and our door is locked 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

Anoisagusaris · 25/03/2024 21:47

9.30pm isn’t late 🤣 DH has just gone out to collect one of the DCs from a sport.

SD1978 · 25/03/2024 21:47

You're massively overthinking something no one else will even notice......

FatOaf · 25/03/2024 21:48

It's just late isn't it

What time zone are you in? It was only 9:30 pm in the UK when you posted.

And why would anybody care what their neighbours think about anything?

DianaTaverner · 25/03/2024 21:48

No, it would be very unreasonable. Supermarkets claim to be open between 8pm and 10pm, but obviously nobody actually goes out at that time of night, so the staff use the time to have orgies in the frozen food aisle. They'd be mortified if you unexpectedly burst in on them.

PerfectTravelTote · 25/03/2024 21:48

Do you live in a retirement village?

RottingInBed · 25/03/2024 21:49

Diversion · 25/03/2024 21:50

I have no idea what my neighbours are doing right now, my curtains are closed, however my husband may have decided that he might need to nip out on the choccy run, for him not me I must add.

lallaland123 · 25/03/2024 21:50

Springisnear4 · 25/03/2024 21:34
