If your neighbour went out in the car at this time would you think anything of it? Just for reference it's a close and most people have security lights and/or cameras

I just didn't want to disturb anyone

It’s not even late? Who do you think cares?

I really do wonder how some people get through the day without help.

Cherrysoup · 25/03/2024 21:34

Mine is probably off to collect the eldest, who has a part time job. My DH has just left for work. I couldn’t frankly care less where a neighbour might be going. I sometimes go to the supermarket once my DH has gone to work. 🤷‍♀️

@ThinWomansBrain its me that wants to go out

Oh! 😂😂 Sorry! No, just go out and assume your neighbours are not completely mad.

miniaturepixieonacid · 25/03/2024 21:34

No, not weird at all. It's not even late. I often get home from work or a rehearsal between 8.30 and 10.30pm, realise I have no food in the house and go straight out again. Depends on your lifestyle. If you have children and a 9-5 job it's prob quite late to go out. If you live alone or have a more variable lifestyle then it's not at all.

MadamVastra · 25/03/2024 21:34

Do you need wine and choc

Springisnear4 · 25/03/2024 21:35

Painkillers and chocolate

MusictomyEar · 25/03/2024 21:35

I wouldn’t give an actual fuck if someone thought it was weird me going out at 9pm.
I have a life and I live it.
Anyone have an issue with it, where it doesn’t affect them can shove their opinion where the sun doesn’t shine.
whoever has an issue is just jealous that the person going out has a life.

Jokl · 25/03/2024 21:36

What? 😂 unless you yodel at the top of your lungs whilst tap dancing down the drive to your car, then why would anyone even notice?!

Winnading · 25/03/2024 21:36

Springisnear4 · 25/03/2024 21:34

I just didn't want to disturb anyone

Like who?
Who do you think will notice?
Will they question you?
If not then go ahead and go out, if yes then go ahead and go out and tell the questioner to fuck off.

Well I wouldn't put on drum and bass at full volume when Im driving off...but seriously....have you never been out or come home later than 9.30,pm?

StarDolphins · 25/03/2024 21:36

The only time this would bother me is if I was putting a dead body in the boot. The security lights would mean people could see.

If I was going to the shop, all good.

Disturb? How do you go out? Screaming at the top of your voice, circling your cul de sac three times?
are you never out of the house at 9PM? Strange person…

rach2713 · 25/03/2024 21:39

I've said to my husband before as we always do are food shop on a Sunday I have never see are neighbors do a food shop or bring it in from the car does that mean they dont eat 😂.

Disturb anyone how?

Just go ffs. People work evening/night shifts and need to leave their homes. People have deliveries and takeaways that come at night time. If people
don’t want to be disturbed by people getting in and out of cars at night then they need to live in the middle of nowhere.

DelphiniumBlue · 25/03/2024 21:39

Do you live in Royston Vasey?
What has it got to do with anyone if you go out ?

Springisnear4 · 25/03/2024 21:40

My front door sticks and can be loud

OP posts:
Janehasamane · 25/03/2024 21:40

Op it’s really not unusual to go out at nine or ten o clock. We don’t need to stay in once it gets dark.

Do you have anxiety?

@ThinWomansBrain its me that wants to go out

What kind of life do you live that you can't go out whenever the hell you like?

ThePriceIsWright · 25/03/2024 21:41

Are you OK OP?

BrieHugger · 25/03/2024 21:41

Simply leave your ghetto blaster at home and refrain from doing donuts round the cul de sac. Should be fine.

No one cares. Are you seeing anyone for your anxiety? Living with this type of fear isn’t normal or healthy.
