I don't know how it happened

Had one at 11am and liked it so much I had another.

One when walking the dog then another when I came back to warm me up with tea.

Two when watching a crap film, the repeat for Netflix

Then two must've jumped into my mouth

10 x creme eggs = 1,770 calories

Fine if you didn't eat much else.

i can’t believe you sat there and counted

When I was breastfeeding I ate 5 caramel eggs in a day (as caramel versions are superior to the regular cream egg 🤣)

Noooooo

IwishMaxTheriothadanOnlyfans · 24/03/2024 08:23

Oh god I'm so jealous. I ADORE creme eggs but haven't had one this year as I'm on WW. I know if I have one, I'll have ten as well ...

Lelophants · 24/03/2024 08:23

This thread is hilarious. One day of eating too much chocolate and suddenly it’s binge eating disorder and the start of diabetes. What do you salad eaters do on Easter Sunday? the op wouldn’t have posted if it was normal for her. I’m sure there are women on here who haven’t eaten enough in a day before.

RainbowZebraWarrior · 24/03/2024 08:25

They are so sickly, I cant even eat one, so wouldn't be my choice.

I did have a crap day on Friday though, so ate four star bars.

Lelophants · 24/03/2024 08:25

@Georgethecat1 ooh does that mean if I’m breastfeeding I get a free pass? I have a pack of four in the garage and I’m tempted. I’m more of a Lindt fan though generally. Maybe I should shove a bunny or two in my mouth. Give those teeth a wash of sugar! Won’t be able to fit my salad in.

Sunshinedayscomeon · 24/03/2024 08:30

Did you eat them all the same way, or vary the method of consumption?

Begsthequestion · 24/03/2024 08:31

ohpumpkinseeds · 24/03/2024 05:32

Crème egg consumption doesn't cause diabetes. Please educate yourself.

It's 260g of sugar in one day, just from the eggs.

That's exactly the kind of consumption that causes diabetes.

You know what I find sad?
When I was a kid in the 70's/80's creme eggs were bigger and the chocolate had no palm oil in it so it didn't taste greasy.
I used to like cadburys mini eggs until they went greasy.

And the chocolate was much thicker. Dd had one the other day, the chocolate was like a thin skin.

They used be quite difficult to bite due to chocolate thickness. Now they are just pathetic.

soupfiend · 24/03/2024 08:32

This sounds like creme egg bragging.

Im not even sure I believe you but then I cant stand the things, I think they're repulsive

However they are small so I can see how it happens.

fuckthemail · 24/03/2024 08:32

I did this once and posted it on here for the lols. Everyone reacted like this - like it was funny. Turns out I had binge eating disorder... Just throwing it out there in case OP. It took me years to realise what was going on.

Mumof2NDers · 24/03/2024 08:33

Wow!! That’s impressive, the most I’ve managed is 6!

TheseLegsDefinitelyUsedToBeLonger · 24/03/2024 08:38

timegoesbysoso · 24/03/2024 00:04

I blame it on being clumsy. Things just fall into my mouth as I potter around. Usually cheese to fair but chocolate today

I hate it when that happens. Falling onto some sausage rolls or an Easter egg… then you need to eat chocolate to make yourself feel better… 😁

colouredball · 24/03/2024 08:39

@Newsenmum

It's a multiple of 10, I don't think that poster was using their fingers and toes to work it out

I get what you mean. On a thread I read the other day people were bragging that they regularly eat 6 creme eggs in one sitting. In reality that's not a normal thing to do unless there's an underlying problem.

chocolatemademefat · 24/03/2024 08:44

Seems like a reasonable amount to me.

There's literally no causal link between sugar consumption and diabetes. I wouldn't say educate yourself because that's rude. More, look it up, have a read. It's interesting and not a lot of people know it.
10 cream eggs as a one off sounds bloody lovely. They're pretty small, there are puddings on plenty of restaurant menus with close to that kind of quantity of fat and sugar. Only takes its toll on your health if you do it regularly.

We are taking this down as its not in the spirit of the site.

You obviously don't binge eat 😂

We're meant to have a maximum of 30g of free sugars a day.

260g is not something to celebrate.

Sugar: the facts

Most adults and children in the UK eat too much sugar. Cut down by eating fewer sugary foods, such as sweets, cakes and biscuits, and drinking fewer sugary fizzy drinks.

Your body, your choice.

And what when the OP develops diabetes? She or her body won’t have a choice.
coupled with that is the fact that if the NHS doesn’t have a drastic rethink, the care won’t be there for the millions of people with diabetes 😱

Jb2182 · 24/03/2024 08:53

Banging. Sounds like a brilliant Saturday! Wish I'd done the same!

Misthios · 24/03/2024 08:54

YABU only because creme eggs in 2024 are a pale imitation of the creme eggs I remember from my youth. Cadbury chocolate shouldn't be chewy, the shit they put in it now has absolutely ruined it.

But if you enjoy them, crack on.

MintyCedric · 24/03/2024 08:55

I managed a bag of mint Aero mini eggs and half a bag of After Eight ones…am also on hot cross buns for breakfast atm.

Don't think the occasional odd good day is too much to worry about.

BabySnarkDoDoo · 24/03/2024 08:55

Well, they're only on sale for a small part six months of the year, so you have to enjoy them while you can!
