To absolutely HATE it when people park like this?! (pics included)

I live in a neighbourhood which is almost entirely on-street parking and spaces are at a premium, and I can’t describe how fucking annoying it is when a few cars are parked in such away that they occupy way more spaces than they actually need. In pics attached there is normally space for 5 cars to park neatly between the H-bar and the end of the double yellow lines. The bloody massive Barbarian has literally not moved for about a month and the Skoda has taken up two spaces by itself. And on the other side of the road the red car has left a shitload of space at either end as well.

Are these people so monumentally shit at parking that they absolutely must have that much room or they can’t possibly get in or out, or are they just thoughtless, selfish arseholes?

Frustrating, but you don't know if a car was parked either side of them when they parked.

Once more for the slow people at the back- yes, I do know.

OP i think people mean generally, when you see cars parked like that, you can't tell what was there before - not in your specific instance. That's what I meant, anyway.... and no excuse for the end people unless they legitimately need extra space like a pp.

This happens down our road all the time. My partner actually stopped one driver who'd left a massive space and suggested if he moved up to the white road markings, someone else might be able to fit in behind him. The guy wasn't impressed at basically being told (politely) how to park but funnily enough, he's not done it since and parks more considerately now.

Luckily we have a drive so can always park (unless some dickhead decides to block our drive but that's another story) but if we didn't I'd be inclined to leave a note on each car explaining the error of their ways. Stuff like that just grinds my gears.
