Where can I buy DP a massive fucking gold medal for being the only one in the house "not on long term medication"?

There are three of us in our house - the dog, me and DP.

The dog practically rattles with all the medicines she's on.
I'm on a repeat prescription for pain killers for my periods.
DP isn't on any medication for anything.

Three times recently he's commented that he's the only one in the house "not on long term medication" with a kind of underlying smugness and superiority that I can't quite put my finger on.

He said it for the third time last night and it disproportionately pissed me off. I was in the middle of brushing my teeth, he was in another room and by the time I could've replied, the moment had passed and he was wanging on about something else. So I just let it go.

But it's ridiculously still niggling at me today.

For context - though DP isn't on long term medication, he's not exactly the picture of fucking health. He's been carrying a paunch for a decade, he suffers with eczema, he's got a dodgy eye, and a pair of piles have just appeared at the brim of his bumhole.

The wreath can hang on his piles... Like 2 little hooks....

They see themselves as some sort of failure, not a real man, if they have to see a dr or take medication. It’s pathetic.

YABU to post about your husbands bum hole. It's never to late to bring up an old grudge you have bourne. It's not even that long ago.

Perhaps he should go for one of those private health checks (paid for out of his personal spends of course) It might reveal his hypertension, high cholesterol and maybe pre diabetes too. Good to know if they are present and possible also able to get him to STFU!

Dh used to say this and then developed a life threatening auto immune illness overnight. He’s now on more pills than anyone. Your dh never knows what is round the corner

She's 11. She had a really tough start. We nearly lost her last year.

The irony is that whenever the vets suggest a medicine or supplement which might help her but isn't necessarily essential, DP is the first to say "Yes, whatever it takes, however much it costs". 😂

Leave the fucking pooch out of this.
