To not worry about my manky foot (horrible pic included)

I was at a wedding at the weekend and someone accidentally stood on my foot wearing a high heel (you can see the scabby bit where that happened). Now 5 days later my foot looks like this, it seems to be getting worse every day. It’s not massively painful, but the whole area is itchy as hell. Do I need to worry or is it just a bruise? I just tried to send a photo to my doctor but they are offline and not taking any new requests.

@BashfulClam I don’t have an ‘urgent treatment centre’ whatever that is

They're a sort of "not-quite-as-urgent-as-A&E" place where you can queue (obviously) and get seen by a nurse for things that can't wait for a GP appointment. It's not a bad idea to at least find out where your nearest one is and make a note of it, just in case.

We don’t have one, I live in Scotland and my nearest hospital only has A&E, the next nearest is 50 miles away. We have to visit A&E so saying it’s not A&E worthy isn’t right for all people. I phoned NHS 24 with a suspected fracture, their advice was A&E because we don’t have anything else.
