Weird - I'm a very quiet, introverted person who just likes to stay at home and live a quiet life - people don't get me and I've been told many times that I'm weird or there's something wrong with me!

I don't think so, surely most people have variety of traits, some closer to "the norm" than others. I think a lot of the time my behaviour/thoughts/style/interests/whatever measure you like falls within "normal" parameters, and other times I'm likely mad as a bag of badgers. Which is normal, right..!?! I think "normal" is pretty hard to define.

Neurodiverse and spent my whole life feeling like a weirdo. Learning more about my own diagnosis and other people like me has made me realise I’m not that weird at all. I’m a pretty textbook “normal” for an ADHD brain with trauma. But that isn’t exactly normal, even if it’s not super rare.

It’s a very broad question - you might dress very conventionally but eat only certain foods for instance; Does that make you weird? Are you weird just because you enjoy one or two specific interests? Are you weird because your idea of fun on a Friday or Saturday night isn’t sitting in a bar/pub/club getting totally out of it? I could think of other examples but you get the idea.

Aren’t we all a bit weird though? What is “normal”?
