I imagine you’d take a very different attitude to the poll results if they supported your argument.

Reality is that the overwhelming majority of the U.K. public support Kate and William and wish them well. Polls everywhere bear this out.

I would like a question on a ballot paper re the monarchy .

But I do trust trends and all polls show a majority of the young ( under 35 ish) do not support the monarchy

What baffles me most is that it was stated repeatedly even before the surgery that she wouldn't be back until Easter - Has Easter come and gone? No. So the hysteria is just... Mental imo.

IT WOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER FOR HER TO HAVE STAYED OUT OF SIGHT UNTIL EASTER AS WAS THE ORIGINAL DECISION. THERE IS NO NEED FOR MOTHERS IN THE PUBLIC EYE TO PUBLISH PHOTOS ON MOTHERING SUNDAY. Sorry for the capitals.
