What sort of half - wit designs /manufactures pale cream ddog beds?
Trawling the aisles of a popular pet store for aged creaky ddog-willing to spend as she isn't comfortable in current one (my sofa /chair) Majority have cream interiors.. The bit ddog will put her dirty paws and bumhole on!!

Just a few months again, after nearly 40 years of marriage, and raising a DS I found out where all the missing socks have gone in our house.

I noticed a sock with a hole in it in the bin. Asked DH where the other one was, he replied he only throws the sock with a hole in it away not its matching hole-less partner and just pops that in the wash or back in his drawer. I was shocked and had to explain I kept all the odd ones in the hope the missing one turned up. Chatting to DS about my amusing discovery a few days later, he broke the news he did it as well. I was gobsmacked that neither of them had considered why they kept one of the socks!

The hours I must have wasted sorting through the clean socks trying to match pairs when many of them were now singletons. It has only just occurred to me that it is very rare for any of my socks go missing, so the answer was there all the time.

Although I have a friend who only buys packs of plain black socks so matching is easy and if socks are worn only the worn one goes out.

When we moved house I filled an old bean bag cover with odd socks....

Is it comfortable? Because I have a linen laundry bag full of odd socks.

I hear you - and you’re still wrong. No evidence at all that this person was responsible for the Whitechapel murders. The reason we don’t know who he is, is because we don’t know who he is. A completely anonymous person who passed in and out of life without ever getting on the radar of the police, asylums or any other governmental record-keeping organisation. Trawling the records of “lunatic asylums” looking for likely suspects among the people admitted with severe mental illness is horrendous. He will never be found. If he wasn’t suspected then, there is no reason to suspect these people now, just because their lives ended up being a matter of record.

Tonight's mystery oddly connected to my initial posting....
Found a beige lined bed for ddog... Like muddy paw brown tbh...
Got 1 and it's smashing so went on popular pet shop website... Tried to click and collect 1 of the same.. Clicked 2 by accident.. Said collect Saturday. Champion as passing there anyway Saturday.. Realise I needed to reduce basket to just 1 bed.... Now says collect next Tuesday!! Same local branch!

Why can my husband be an immaculate cleaner and tidier and all round housekeeper but not remember a significant event we have booked for months and speak about often?😆 the look of utter surprise when i tell him the day before we are going!

Ironing boards grow legs and leave home when neglected for years- that's how we lost ours anyway.

I had exactly the same thing happen two years ago, we took the house apart looking for it and it shouldn’t have been flat but didn’t show on “find iphone” Apple devices (it was an AirPod).

Two years and never seen again…

I had that happen, and then DS kindly found it for me in a drawer next to the sofa. It must have fallen off the arm of the sofa, and the drawer must have been coincidentally left open, and then we shut it and never noticed the earbud had dropped inside. Six months it was missing!

Lost socks go to Eerie Indiana ( most of you too young to have seen the TV programme but I was explained) . We all wear odd socks in this house, just accept it!ach
My cat was discovered as eater of earphones, apparently they like the wax/ rubber combo .he also ears crocs
My teenage dd has stolen every black item of clothing I ever possessed (she denies, but the truth is out there)
But why did someone decide we were all too stupid to recycle caps from bottles of fizzy drinks and make them Impossible to detach (or pour_ drink from.) ???

Thank yoooooou! At last someone said it! Thought I was on my own and my kids were chonkers (they are a bit, but even so!) Teeny-tiny trousers for a strapping 11 year old, following the rest of today's towering youth...or his 6ft odd Dad. Then my tiny 10yr old daughter who picks at her food and also has problems with the clothing! Don't get me started on my 16yr old daughter's school clothing - 16yr old trousers fit my son, because they are tiny, but not her.

Although, to he fair, she is built like Brienne of Tarth (Game of Thrones). Still!

Why do men need explaining to in tiny detail on how to do something simple? (Specifically my husband).

Why do things miraculously disappear off the shelves when men go shopping? (Specifically my husband.)

Why do they make a bumble and faff of finding the clitty-cloo, then slip while trying to be sexy as they part your legs with squinty, smoldering eyes and end up kneeing you (me) in the foof bone? (Specifically....you know the drill.)

But what I really want to know is, how do all the other items in the tumble dryer manage to climb inside the duvet cover, even though I buttoned it up before it went in?

Whilst in no way defending the actions of the IRA during the troubles, how could you possibly know that’s what happened to Shergar?
