In answer to some questions…
Who killed the princes in the Tower of London? Richard III. If it was Henry VII, why did no one see them at all in the interim two years? They were under the protection of Richard’s staff, so who else could gain access to them? Who immediately benefited from their deaths in August 1483, when Henry was still in France? Please don’t be misled by a TV producer who claims to be a historian (hint: she isn’t) who has a documentary to flog.
Was Elizabeth the First really a virgin? Yes, and she was examined to confirm this during marriage negotiations. It was far too risky for her to have unprotected sex - she was hardly ever alone and could not have hidden a pregnancy. Whether she was in love is a different matter.
Jack the Ripper’s identity? The police never really had any credible suspects, at the time nor since, and all suspects have been based on pure conjecture. The DNA evidence referred to was on a “shawl” (more likely a table runner) which was said by family tradition to be that of Catherine Eddowes, although there is no evidence for this, as it was not logged as present at the scene of the murder. What happened to Shergar? He was mercilessly machine gunned by the IRA four days after his theft, after breaking his leg in terror from the poor handling he received. Noble freedom fighters, eh.
But what I really want to know is, how do all the other items in the tumble dryer manage to climb inside the duvet cover, even though I buttoned it up before it went in?
