Absolutely cannot stand cuddling in bed - anyone else?

I hate cuddling up to my husband in bed, I just want to turn over not facing him and sleep. I don’t want to be touched whilst I’m sleeping. I can’t even stand his knee or toe touching me.

I’m affectionate all the time but when I’m trying to sleep I hate it.

Anyone else like this?

It's too hot. We cuddle then I roll over and he strokes my butt until I fall asleep. It's a great system 🤣🤣🤣

I hate it, l dont mind a quick cuddle and kiss before l turn over, but come to bed after me and wake me up trying to givev me a cuddle l litteraly lose my shit, I'm a menopausal woman who dosent sleep well, If I'm asleep l want to stay asleep...

We've cuddled for 20 years now. The cat just cuddles in under my arm or is on top of me. Our youngest comes through and cuddle in every night too. I'm the middle of the bed burrito.

HATE IT. I have sensory issues, so cuddling while I'm trying to decompress from an overstimulating day really isn't ideal.

We sleep completely tangled up, if we wake up and are apart we always get cuddled up again. I love it!

I love my husband dearly and I love affection and cuddles. I am one of the most tactile people. However in bed trying to sleep I do not want to be touched at all. We have a super king, we’d have separate beds if I got my way. Bed is for sleeping and stretching out in and not huddled in sweaty cuddles!!

I'm exactly the same, hate being touched when I want to sleep and have done as long as I can remember, even as a child i didnt like being cuddles in bed... strangely enough I'm happy to cuddle the dog though!

Cuddling to sleep, love it. DH is big spoon, but I think the main reason is because he is always red hot and I’m an iceberg. However, touch me in the middle of the night, especially with your feet, I’ll unleash fury 😂 or probably just push him to his side of the bed!

I love my OH, but I also love my own space for sleeping. Not sure he's worked out why I always book a twin room whenever we go away, and I sort of hope he never does.

I've been single for a while but the thing that was hardest to get over was the comfort of night time cuddles with my ex. until our marriage broke down, we always slept completely tangled up . even during the day, just putting my head on his shoulder or chest would send me straight to sleep.

I'm single so not a bother thankfully but YANBU. Sex is fine but I can barely even stand someone in my bed after, let alone cuddling. I had a FWB for a while but my god I just wanted him GONE first thing in the morning, get out of my bed. I'm definitely destined to be alone and I'm fine with that!

I knew DH was the one when he cuddled me all night and I slept in his arms. Over 30 years later, my body did not lie - not the first man I had sex with, but the first man to hold me all night without my body saying no.

Cuddling in bed is one of life’s greatest pleasures. Dp and I live apart so when we sleep in the same bed in the same house we are glued together, we roll over together and respoon in the other direction. On hot nights we just have our legs tangled together. When I get I warm I pull the duvet off me rather than pulling out of the cuddle. I’m glad he agrees with me.

We have our own duvets in the same bed too.. it started when we he had covid and was going hot and cold all the time, only just remembered it wasn't normal reading this thread! It works so well for us, no feeling too warm from each others heat and no fighting over the covers!

I only cuddle the cat. She purrs us off to sleep. DH runs too hot!

It's one of my favourite things! He's one of the first people I don't feel afraid to be soft around and actually feel safe with. We cuddle up in bed together and I'm immediately out for the count! Always struggle to get to sleep when I'm alone.
