Absolutely cannot stand cuddling in bed - anyone else?

I hate cuddling up to my husband in bed, I just want to turn over not facing him and sleep. I don’t want to be touched whilst I’m sleeping. I can’t even stand his knee or toe touching me.

I’m affectionate all the time but when I’m trying to sleep I hate it.

Anyone else like this?

Friends think I’m funny for not liking being cuddled to sleep. 🤣

I hate cuddling in bed too. I need my own space so I have my own duvet too.
Got fed up of either dh being in my space, or taking the duvet off to the other side of the bed.
It now feels like I'm in a separate bed at night and it's bliss.

I hate cuddling during sleep, it makes me too hot. I'm also a light sleeper.
When I had a partner, I'd be as far away from them as possible. These days, I have a single bed, so nobody, not even my cat,cuddles me

I hate cuddling in bed.

I hate it if DH invades my side of the bed. Happy to have a quick goodnight cuddle when we get into bed but after that we turn away from each other to sleep. I get far too hot if we sleep entangled up.

We are the opposite. We start off with me on my side cuddled up to him whilst he's on his back, my leg over his.

Then I turn in my side and he spoons me.

I love my DH but I’m exactly the same, I hate being cuddled in bed. I’m like don’t invade my side, I want to sleep

Funny how different and strong the preferences are.

DH and I are 'sleep compatible' in that we both love cuddling to sleep.

I can't sleep if I'm in bed with anyone or anything. I now have my own room. DH has his, I have mine! Cats in the kitchen, the dog has the hallway and front room. Everyone gets sleep.

I love cuddling in bed but find I just get to hot to sleep

If there's a way to combine a cuddle and air conditioning sign me up!

Love it but not face to face, big spoon, little spoon is much better.

He just needs to keep his toes away from me. If they touch me, cuddles end.

Love a cuddle and hold a part of his PJs but yes need to fall asleep without him touching me...he too hot when he touches me .I like to be cold to fall asleep but do like to hold a corner of his PJs to know he near by...zzz

My husband is the only person I’ve ever been relaxed with sleeping in the same bed. We tend to snuggle when we get in, and I often fall asleep on his chest, but we mainly sleep separate, often back to back. Especially nowadays while I’m menopausal and running hot and cold!

Absolutely cannot bear to be touching at all to get to sleep, and seperate quilts are a must. I just get too hot otherwise.

I’m the same, love to cuddle, but do need space to sleep.

If I'm napping I can sleep cuddled up, but I can't at nighttime! We have a quick cuddle, a kiss goodnight and then both roll over and lay in opposite sides.

I’m not a fan either. A little cuddle pre/post sex, a bit of a head rub occasionally and maybe the occasional massage, ok. Other than that - don’t touch me, and especially don’t fucking touch me while I’m asleep 🤣

I love cuddling up to my DH something I look forward to everyday but I cannot sleep face to face as I dont like breath in my face.

I like it in the Winter but DH radiates heat and it's terrible in the summer- I like him a foot away from me.

My husband would be more cuddly in bed but I don’t like it. I want my space in bed.

We’ve been married 22 years so it hasn’t caused too much of a problem.

We have separate rooms now and sleep so much better. When we used to share a bed I absolutely hated being touched. But even worse was being breathed on. Yuck!

I love cuddles before we turn the lights off, I love them in the morning, I even apparently get very cuddly in the middle of the night while I am asleep.

But I CANNOT be cuddled or touched in anyway when I am trying to fall asleep.

Poor DH would love to be cuddled up all night long. Guess he married the wrong woman
