Back by popular demand, lol.

Please continue to share your day's delicious delights! Whether you are a snack muncher, or a total gourmand lets continue to relish in eachother's meals!

I've only had 2 packs of chicken flavour crisps and a belvita bar so far today. I'm sure you can do better than that!

Happy Eating folks! : )

They're my favourites! I've left the custard creams and the malted milks for the kids - they're savages, they'll eat anything.

😂 amazing. I’m with the kids .. Custard cremes are the best! With a cup of tea. Then fig rolls. Then Jammie dodgers.

Pebbles16 · 25/02/2024 20:54

Today has been dull
Sunday breakfast: a sausage, two rashers of bacon, poached egg with lots of pepper and a slice of white toast with lashings of butter
Went to cook dinner and needed sustenance: two Pringles (I should have had more!)
Dinner: roast chicken (I suspect not the legendary Mumsnet chicken), a couple of roasties, carrots and peas
I would have liked a crumpet in between but I'm menopausal and even thinking about a crumpet will have added a few lbs!!

onlyhereforthefood · 25/02/2024 20:56

Piece of sea salt chocolate, not sure I like it
Quiche with salad
4 black coffees, 5 mint teas.

Lots of folk having the classic roast chicken dinner today, as is good and proper! I think I might make one tomorrow if I can be arsed. That is one meal I always miss if I spend a few months abroad. Can't be beaten.

I just had some baked salmon (with dried chilli, lemon, garlic and oregano), half a jacket potato cooked with olive oil and salt on the skin...mmm...crispy skin...Plenty of mayo, and some steamed cauliflower and chanteney carrots. Carrots overcooked sadly, but overall pretty tasty!

May go for a few bits of crumbly mature cheddar and pickle as a late night snack.

Ooh cheddar and pickle. Lovely.
I made pickled oranges last year and I like those with my fancy cheddar.
I didn't have any bun loaf in the end because I couldn't fit it in, I shall have it for elevenses tomorrow.

Dinner is chickpea and potato stew and carrots.
Bun loaf at some point.

BobbyBiscuits · 26/02/2024 11:38

@BouleDeSuif Pickled oranges, wow! I've not tried those. Is it a bit like marmalade but more vinegary? I've only ever pickled an onion and think the ones in the jar turned out better than my sad effort! haha.
@FiloPasty Ooh, I love a good steak. Medium rare for me, with lots of garlic butter. Yours sounds great with squash and goats cheese.

Nothing yet as I don't eat breakfast, but me and DS are having a huge full English fry-up for lunch.

BobbyBiscuits · 26/02/2024 11:52

@KissMyArt Are you me? Haha..I'm about to head to the greasy spoon Italian Caff for sausage, mushrooms and chips! Been wanting to go there for ages, last time was sadly about 4 years ago. Then followed by a cheeky pint of Guinness! Yay...
No doubt will need to go back to bed afterwards : )
