Back by popular demand, lol.

Please continue to share your day's delicious delights! Whether you are a snack muncher, or a total gourmand lets continue to relish in eachother's meals!

I've only had 2 packs of chicken flavour crisps and a belvita bar so far today. I'm sure you can do better than that!

Yesterday
Breakfast was the crust of my home made protein seed bread with peanut butter
Mid morning I had 4 choc brazils and a coffee with cream
Lunch was a two egg omelette with spinach, red pepper and tomatoes and cheese, plus a large handful of pistachios. I was hungry.
I think I probably ate a couple more choc brazils around 4 pm as I joined a work call.
Supper was late as didn't finish work til 7:30. I had a crustless edamame and spinach mini quiche with about 4 chips and some salad, and 2 slices garlic bread.
Then I ruined it by drinking most of a bottle of wine while watching Breathless and thinking how terribly frightening that time was.

Yesterday was breakfast: apple cinnamon bar and a small glass of kefir yogurt drink, lunch: halloumi and roasted veggie salad (see pic), snacks: homemade strawberry pastry twist thing, small bag of yogurt coated raisins, dinner: herby pork pasta with feta and olives (hello fresh), two glasses white wine, three milk tray (somehow still have Christmas chocolate lying around!)

So lunch was yogurt, maple syrup, sultanas, couple of Brazil and walnuts

B: Small bowl Vanilla skyr with drizzle honey, teaspoon smooth peanut butter, chopped walnut, mixed seeds, chopped strawberries, raspberries & blueberries. So tasty.

L: Homemade falafel, houmous, rocket with balsamic and olive oil

D: Planning on chicken fajitas

S: Slice of Soreen with probably too much salted butter

Drinks: Lots of water, yorkshire tea, might push the boat out and have a G&T after dinner, but drinking alcohol always seems to mean I search out crappy foods to snack on & lose all willpower!

Thought you lovely people would like to see my latest batch cook. This is:

  • Brown lentil, butterbean and cauliflower dhal
  • Burnt aubergine and kidney bean chilli
  • Mushroom and pancetta pasta sauce
  • Courgette, white bean, fennel, chorizo and dill pistou
  • Butterbean and fennel casserole
  • Hungarian mushroom soup
  • Tuna pasta bake

Won't need to cook again for months... 🙂

Today breakfast was bread and cheese with home made piccalilli
Lunch was tomato and bacon soup, bread and potted beef and an apple
Dinner is scones, cheese again, celery and pickle- whatever pickle I have left in the cupboard. I think it's probably oranges.

D: mac & cheese, water
dessert: more crisps

Breakfast
GF Bagel with gf chicken tempura and mayo
A few nocellara olives
Passionfruit lemonade from Markies
A GF chocolate cake bar

Lunch
Jasmine rice with stir fried courgettes, oyster mushrooms and sweetcorn in a peanut sauce
A whole mango cut into fingers
A piece of scorza, an Italian dark chocolate flake type thing

Hwven’t had dinner yet. I’m thinking maybe just some gf oatcakes or crackers and nut butter.

Today:

2 small slices sourdough toast with almond butter
Pasta with homemade tomato sauce, courgette, chicken, green beans and broccoli
Frozen pineapple
Salmon fillet roasted with paprika, roasted cauliflower and butternut squash with spices, cucumber and tomato

3 cups of coffee with skimmed milk. Cut out the coconut sugar as decided it wasn’t worth it. Can’t say I’ve missed it.

Will have a small snack shortly, not sure what yet.

A Cornish Pasty from my local bakery, and a whole tub of Hagen Dazs Strawberries and Cream ice cream. Oh and a full fat milk large Latte.

Roll on type 2 diabetes and blocked arteries!

The usual menopausal sugar fest:

Slice of toast with peanut butter
2 rich tea biscuits
1 M and S mini flapjack
Ploughman's lunch at a restaurant in London (very underwhelming)
Oat milk latte
2 more rich tea biscuits
1 pear
Large slice of passion fruit and carrot cake
1 raspberry Activia yoghurt.

Good god, I've got to sort my eating habits out!

L - two pieces of nimble wholemeal. 6 Quorn chilli bites , 3 gherkins
D - home meade vegetable soup + 1/4 tin of butter beans + 3 slices wholemeal Nimble
Snack - 2 Ryvita dark rye + 2 Laughing Cow light + 2 tomatoes

About 500 chocolate biscuits
Some chocolate eggs (small ones)
Toast and peanut butter
Cheese and tomato sandwich
Homemade cheeseburger with hash browns and a green salad

B- apple and cinnamon porridge

L- ham salad sandwich, some pretzels and cucumber/celery

D- home made sweet and sour chicken with rice and prawn crackers

S- bag of chocolate brownie m&ms (like, 100g bag), a banana and half an iced finger bun (would have been a whole one but two year old saw it!)

Yesterday I had:

B: soya yogurt with granola and sliced banana, glass of orange juice

L: McDonald’s medium fries, banana milkshake

S: pink lady apple, babybel

D: chicken korma with rice and chips

S: caramel Freddo then later 4 choc chip cookies

today will be similar breakfast although I think the bananas are too green yet, and I’m cooking a roast pork Sunday dinner

just weighed myself this morning and need to seriously loose some weight so got to up the exercise and start eating much better/healthier

Yesterday I had

2 x GF toast, 1 with marmite, 1 with chocolate spread

Mini egg cookie and 4 squares of dairy milk

1/2 a GF pizza with 4 mozzarella sticks

2 x latte, 1 x tea, 1 x ginger beer

Absolutely awful day, will definitely have some fruit and veg today and drink more!

Bfast - yoghurt, banana, nuts

Snack- protein bar

Lunch - rice salmon peas & olive oil

Snack- watermelon

Dinner - breaded chicken fillets with legumes and salad

Snack - watermelon & sugar free digestive

It's only 10:28am yet but I've just finished another Minestrone CupaSoup and I'll shoot to the chippie tonight for chips with a chicken/mushroom hot pie!

@SausageRoll58 minestrone cup a soup are one of my greatest pleasures (I don't get out a lot).

Today breakfast was bread and butter, potted beef and a scone with plum jam
Lunch is a sandwich of some kind and an apple
Dinner is black bean soup (in the slow cooker and smelling lovely) and tinned peaches with custard.

2 boiled eggs
3 bourbon biscuits with my coffee. :)

I'm off to the shop shortly, as I need to post a letter. Might see if there's anything I fancy for lunch there...

L - turkey and ham salad wrap

D - this will be turkey sausages, beans and mash

S - 2 squares chocolate, packet of sunbites, protein yogurt

B: Skyr, honey, spoon smooth peanut butter, strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, chopped walnut & mixed seeds

L: 2 egg omelette with ham & small amount cheddar, rocket, cherry toms, drizzle olive oil

D: Probably homemade spag bol, with green veg

Trying not to snack today as been emotionally eating the last few days!

Lots of water, tea with semi skimmed milk, 1 can diet coke
