How much would this cost in your local chippy

just That, normal chip shop food, nothing fancy

1 portion of large chips
2 savaloys or sausage ( I know some places don’t have savaloy but they are the same price )
portion of chicken nuggets (6 with no chips )

Exactly £13.30 from my local chippy, which I actually went to last night. The saveloys and sausage are a bargainous £2.70.

Mind you, we had a small haddock, large cod and a large chips and that was £21.20. Fish is v expensive.

Just under £10 on just eat. I know it's slightly cheaper if I walk there.

That's just a portion of chips though. They didn't have size options.

Just looked up ours:
Large chips £2.70 (enough for 2 at least but not HUGE)
Large sausage £1.30 x2 = £2.60
6x chicken nuggets = £2.10
So = £7.40 total. Small city in the NW.

The chips & 2 jumbo sausage is £5.70, I don’t believe they do nuggets but if they did I expect the total would be around the £8 figure.

£14 over here! Fish would make it even pricier.

The fish and chip shop we go to is rated 5 stars and award winning, also in Clifton in Bristol so it's a pretty expensive area and the food is GOOD and the portions generous.

They only offer nuggets in sets of 9 but that lot would set you back just over £15. The fish is more expensive but huge (one large is easily enough for two) and really good.

Posh (and nicer) local chip shop £12.75:

Our chippers here in Dublin have gone completely crazy, the last time we ordered something, very simple

2x curry sauces
it was barely under €30

There has been many stories on our local media, radio, newspapers about how many family Traditional Italian Chippers are struggling... I can understand why

Total £25.25 - a total rip off tbh, but I live in a popular holiday area in Scotland

About £12 is the small sausages if king size sausages £16

Now I want a battered sausage and I'm:
