2 savaloys or sausage ( I know some places don’t have savaloy but they are the same price )
portion of chicken nuggets (6 with no chips )

£7.90. No way would I pay those prices!

I'd have to guess going by the things we order, but I'd say around £14.

We have a mobile chip shop that parks up nearby on a Friday and it’s the best fish and chips but limited on what they offer :

we had large chips , 2 large cod , battered halloumi and scampi last night and it was about £32.50 .

Sausages and chicken nuggets from the chip shop in our house are for getting the kids a treat they like whilst we treat ourselves.

Prices have gone up by about 20% here from pre covid times but still reasonable compared to other areas.

Quite shocked at how many places are charging over £4 for a large sausage!!
They have recently gone up from £1 to £2 in my local chippy and I thought that was a rip off.

Whaaat the actual fuck?? That is ridiculous! Reckon it'd be about £10-£12 at our chippy.

£3.20 for a very large chips- £9 for large fish and chips. £7 seems very steep.
