Why do you have to share that you think it’s ‘tacky’? Why not just write the second half of the sentence?

I also don't understand people who say that it looks 'tacky'. I would go so far as to say that opinion is actually factually incorrect. Obviously, taste is subjective, but words mean things and 'tacky' means cheap looking and vulgar. Even if you don't care for the colours, what is vulgar about the bag?

You literally said I'd swap places based on a photo of a handbag and champagne. How else could anyone take that

I know, right? I swear that I could actually use a weekend bag for a purse and still be wishing it was bigger. Right now I am using a VB tote bag as my purse. For Mother's Day last year, my DD and DGD got me a tiny little purse. I love it for going out to eat or "somewhere" that has a finite time limit. They had hoped it would be my new everyday purse. It barely fits my wallet, tissues, phone and gum, let alone my Tums, headache medicine, maxi pad, dental picks, keys, pen, notebook, reading glasses, sunglasses, lip balm, lipstick, mini scissors, tape measure and the other detritus I gather each day. 😳

I absolutely love it! Practical? No. But it's not meant to be. It's meant to be a pretty bag.

I don't actually like lilac usually but I would absolutely buy that (if I had the money!).

Are you showing off? Maybe! But there's nothing wrong with a bit of showing off if you're happy or proud, as long as you're not being horrible or unkind with it - and you're not.

The bag (and particularly the coulour scheme) actually does scream American South (West) to me 😂 or at least Texas and Utah!

If you combine this with a colourful sundress and you’d have yourself a perfect church / temple outfit.
