Do you get on with your SILs?

Just curious if people do?

I have 3 SILs married to my brothers (well one engaged).
I don't live close to any of them so not super close but I like them all. Just nice people, good company and I catch up with them when I'm back home and I seem them plenty even if my brothers are not around. We occasionally call/text but not regularly.

My partner's two sisters are completely indifferent to me. They aren't rude or unkind, they just make zero effort to even talk to me. If I talk to them, I get very little back. Partner just says we are very different types of people and they aren't as sociable. They are very sociable with everyone but me!

Just wondering how others get on?

I have 2 sisters in law and love them dearly. They are an asset to our family and my brothers are both very lucky!

I only have one brother, who is married and also has two exes he was with for a long time each (shares a child with one).

I would say that my relationship with all three has been very similar, very friendly, really like each other, but not exactly friends as such. I still have the same relationship with the exes (all my family does, including current SIL!) - they're facebook friends and we interact on there, if I bump into them we always have a nice chat but I've never had the kind of friendship where I'd call them for a chat or go for a coffee just us or anything. I'm perfectly happy with that 😊
