Also, what do you eat that a lot of people thinks odd?
So, I eat everything separately, no mixing of food on my fork unlike my husband who likes a bit of this and a bit of that... I also eat things in order that makes my husband 🥴
However, one thing that really annoys him is when I make the stuffing. I love eating the dried stuff straight from the packet, but even more so I love it when I've poured the boiling water over it, mixed it and put butter/marg over it. I eat it straight away before putting it in the oven. It drives my husband bonkers as I've filled myself on the stuffing before dinner and there's less for everyone else... I can't help it, it's just so much tastier that way!!!

@Hummusandstuff, I prefer my porridge made with water, but otherwise you're completely spot on.

Wednesdaysotherchild · 12/02/2024 20:56

Dip cheese into cold pasta sauce

I love pasta with chickpeas, soya sauce, pepper and grated cheese

Spooning nutritional yeast into my mouth, could do a whole pack in one!

Some s&v crisps with buttered toast for breakfast, ideally with chocolate bar on side. Christmas only!

I think raw brussels sprouts are lovely

I also love undercooked pastry, especially Linda M sausage rolls.

Also undercooked oven chips… but not waffles or any other frozen potato thing.

onawave · 12/02/2024 21:01

I'm a raw stuffing eater as well.
I strip the inside out of sausages and eat the meat raw. Always eat a bit of raw mince when I'm cooking with it.
And I love a raw mushroom, grated cheese and ketchup sandwich.

LeopardsRockingham · 12/02/2024 21:15

White bread, peanut butter and gerkin sandwiches....amazing!

MythicBish · 12/02/2024 21:22

I LOVE stuffing mix before it’s cooked in the oven, far superior than the finished product!

I also love eating the cubes of jelly (before you make up the jelly) but hate jelly once it’s made up.

I love chicken super noodles, on a slice of cheap white bread toast, topped with tons of grated cheese. Carby disgusting goodness

I also cook a bowl of frozen mixed veg, and then once cooked sprinkle over salt and chilli seasoning (mayflower brand)

PrincessHoneysuckle · 12/02/2024 21:25

Coleslaw on pizza.cuts through the grease lovely.

Sliced gherkins on fish finger sandwiches

MythicBish · 12/02/2024 21:29

Ooo and cold overcooked mushroom risotto. The rice goes all stodgy and claggy.

mizu · 12/02/2024 21:36

Pickled onion monster munch with my homemade leek and potato soup - delicious!

BouleDeSuif · 12/02/2024 21:43

Good grief, I thought my rollmops sandwich was peculiar, but you're all completely madGrin

whatisforteamum · 12/02/2024 21:45

Same with the stuffing
Cold sprouts
Cheese on crackers microwave 20 secs
All the dough bits out of vol au vents
Cooked bowl of peas with salt and pepper

Disneydatknee88 · 12/02/2024 21:50

Someone up thread mentioned licking the flavour off crisps. I also do this but with additional, disgusting steps. I lick all the flavour off, stack my soggy crisps into a pile and then eat them separately. It is utterly gross and I don't know when or why I started doing this. I only do it with strong flavours like salt and vinegar or prawn cocktail. I can eat every other type of crisps like a normal person!

itsannie86 · 12/02/2024 21:52

Have been known to enjoy eating Betty Crocker cream cheese icing straight from the tub, like it’s its own dessert

itsannie86 · 12/02/2024 21:53

DH also finds the way I eat fish and chips odd. I order a pot of gravy with fish and chips, divide the chips in half, have one half with the fish and then the other half as its own separate meal with the gravy. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Booksandwine80 · 12/02/2024 20:01

Cold mushy peas straight out of the tin 😳

I had this last night 🙄

ohdamnitjanet · 12/02/2024 21:57

Toasted bacon and crunchy peanut butter sandwich.

Unforgettablefire · 12/02/2024 22:17

I eat half frozen milk. Not all the time I just get cravings for it now and again. The crunchier the better.

Friedchickenrocks · 12/02/2024 22:28

I eat a full 400g tall tin of baked beans or ravioli at once cold from the tin. That's a quick and easy meal for me.

Theresafar · 12/02/2024 22:49

iloveaslan pasta and ice cream?! My award goes to you!

so many already said that I do similar or would try, my absolute favourite has already been said which is cereal with hot milk every time.

FasterthanaButteredOtter · 12/02/2024 22:51

Kettlebellend · 11/02/2024 21:02

Surely everyone eats their most favourite part of the meal last!!

No! I will eat my favourite part first as I like my food hot, not lukewarm.

FasterthanaButteredOtter · 12/02/2024 22:53

@elm26 DH finds it odd that I put a heaped teaspoon of Nutella into hot rice pudding

Ooohhh that sounds really nice! Can totally see that working as a combo.

Gobolino80 · 12/02/2024 23:11

@Jemimapinotduck I could have written that bit about the stuffing. I bloody love big buttery spoonfuls of the stuff before it goes in the oven.

UnctuousUnicorns · 12/02/2024 23:14

All you weirdos eating stuffing before it gets its lovely crispy coating from being in the oven - what is wrong with you?! 😱

Fizbosshoes · 12/02/2024 23:17

I like eating frozen peas straight from the freezer

Weightwatcher2 · 12/02/2024 23:42

Chocolate ice cream in a toasted brioche bun. If it’s good enough for Nigella and Italians…

Ready salted crisp sandwich.

I don’t think this is weird but some do: make a crepe then drizzle with generous amounts of melted salted butter and, more so, melted good quality Belgian chocolate. The salt improves the chocolate and it’s so delicious.

I love our chippy’s gravy and curry so I always get both with my fish and chips. I don’t pour them both on together though - I am slightly civilised…
