Also, what do you eat that a lot of people thinks odd?
So, I eat everything separately, no mixing of food on my fork unlike my husband who likes a bit of this and a bit of that... I also eat things in order that makes my husband 🥴
However, one thing that really annoys him is when I make the stuffing. I love eating the dried stuff straight from the packet, but even more so I love it when I've poured the boiling water over it, mixed it and put butter/marg over it. I eat it straight away before putting it in the oven. It drives my husband bonkers as I've filled myself on the stuffing before dinner and there's less for everyone else... I can't help it, it's just so much tastier that way!!!

Undercooked puff pastry is my favourite. I used to part-time frozen vol au vent cases for my lunch sometimes. No filing, just the quite raw pastry.

Apple yogurt spread on hot, buttered white toast.

BouleDeSuif · 11/02/2024 21:10

I like rollmops sandwiches.

Dunnoburt · 11/02/2024 21:11

I cannot take a bite out of a burger......I have to "deconstruct" and eat layer by layer.....(big mac my fave 🤣)

Op, are you me? I do both of these things and have been looking to purchase those adjustable plastic separators that attach to your plate so things done touch but I’m worried bran or gravy juice might get thorough (separate pots currently) stuffing that way is the best!!

Paw2024 · 11/02/2024 21:12

I don't know if everyone else does this but I get a sort of fixation on something and eat it for weeks until I'm bored
Currently it's chicken salad with sweet potato and feta

Dunnoburt · 11/02/2024 21:12

@Teq also a fan of super soggy puff pastry lol

Laiste · 11/02/2024 21:19

Raw meat.

sorry
(i'm never ill)

Laiste · 11/02/2024 21:20

Not chicken though!

DandelionPockets · 11/02/2024 21:22

I love the skin that forms on an over-cooked rice pudding. Heavenly.

I also love cold toast with thick butter layer.

I like getting cheap neopolitan ice cream, scoop.of each flavour into a bowl, then mix vigorously until you have a smooth beigey ice cream. Extra fancy when I buy a pack of flakes and crumble one into it.

SkaneTos · 11/02/2024 21:24

I eat dry, uncooked, rolled oats from a cup.

wellhello24 · 11/02/2024 21:31

I could eat an entire jar of mint sauce if I didn’t think it would bore a hole into my stomach lining 😂 I love it.

anythinginapinch · 11/02/2024 21:34

I prefer to eat everything with a teaspoon.

RadiatorHead · 11/02/2024 21:38

I like to eat one Walker’s ready salted crisp with a broken up piece of a kitkat and then just repeat until the crisps and kitkat are gone. So good 😋 DH thinks I’m bonkers 🤪

elm26 · 11/02/2024 21:40

Pasta shells with butter and a bit of salt is my comfort food

I love soggy pastry

DH finds it odd that I put a heaped teaspoon of Nutella into hot rice pudding

Sometimes I'll put a load of vinegar on ready salted crisps and eat them soggy

I can't mix food (a bit of this and a bit of that on the fork) I eat it in order of least fave to favourite

I'll eat sweetcorn out of the tin cold

I have cold custard on hot puddings

Burnt toast dipped in tea is magical

I love to eat a few lumps of raw beef mince before cooking it. 😋

tobee · 11/02/2024 21:47

On fast day (5:2) I often fantasise about a particular food late at night. The other night it was cold slightly burnt sausages which are stuck together with cod fat. Those in sandwiches especially.

SplodgeOfCustard · 11/02/2024 21:53

I love rice with lots of vinegar.

Sapphire387 · 11/02/2024 21:54

Raw meat?! 🤢

I don't like cereals or 'breakfast' type foods and much prefer leftover meals in the morning.

When I eat sandwiches, the salad HAS to sit on top of whatever meat, cheese etc. I cannot eat them 'upside down' with the salad sitting underneath.

Like you, OP... I am obsessed with nibbling on the stuffing before it gets properly cooked. And I did it earlier this evening.

Clarich007 · 11/02/2024 22:06

Mashed potato sandwiches
Proper fresh white bread from our local bakery.Has to have a burnt crust.Thickly sliced.Loads of Lurpak and warm creamy mashed potato.
Bread gets warm and melts the butter, pure heaven😁

vidflex · 11/02/2024 22:15

I thought I was the only person who eats stuffing dry straight out the packet!. I feel better about it now lol

vidflex · 11/02/2024 22:16

BouleDeSuif · 11/02/2024 21:10

I like rollmops sandwiches.

Eeeeeeee no

naranjajuice · 11/02/2024 22:24

Samosa sandwiches… samosa nice and crisp from the over, super buttery white bread and away you go! Honestly it’s the best thing ever. DH thinks it’s awful but I don’t care, more for me!

Perfectlystill · 11/02/2024 22:34

I thought I was probably a vaguely weird eater til I read this thread but omfg you lot are REVOLTING!

My stomach literally lurched at the raw beef comment.

I have never felt so glad to be normal!

Jemimapinotduck · 11/02/2024 22:34

Do glad I'm not the only one with a stuffing fetish!! 🤣🤣Also eat least fav to fav 😁

I eat dry, uncooked, rolled oats from a cup.

Why not sprinkle them on a plain rice cake to truly experience all the moisture from your entire body disappearing?
