Just feel like being cheered up with all the doom and gloom.
I’ll start.
Had my hair cut and for once it’s just how I wanted it. Think it makes me look a bit younger. 🙂

My son. He’s a little odd but he makes me laugh so much

I took my neighbour’s dog for a long walk at lunchtime and she tried to climb into a man’s van. It shouldn’t have been funny but the man was so kind (she was on a lead and couldn’t get too far in) and it was a nice moment of connection with a stranger.

My manager randomly offered me an extra wfh day this week and I almost bit his hand off for it.

Laughing with my daughter and my husband. I've been hiding away so tonight meant a lot.

I'm on holiday so am happy anyway, but I'll choose having breakfast with dp on our little balcony at 9 in the morning when I'd usually be an hour into the working day. Lovely.

Walking a few steps with my walker after a full knee replacement 48 hours ago!

Saw some daffodils poking up through the ground.
It was lightish at 5pm.

This evening we had the first production meeting for a play I’m working on. It’s so exciting to be part of a brilliant team and the model of the proposed set is gorgeous.

My son had his best friend over here for tea after school today (they're both in year 1). Both boys and my toddler dd were all a joy, well behaved, kind, manners, all getting along. I love having this kid over as it's so easy!

Played fetch with my dogs. They appreciate it so much and are always so excited when they hear the magic words that mean it's time to play!

Also received a new palette of watercolour paints I'm looking forward to swatching and experimenting with. (It's Boku-Undo E-Sumi Shadow Black Mei, if anyone's interested. Beautiful, moody colours.)

My 3 year old randomly telling me that he loves me sooooo much ♥️ and my almost 2 year old looking up at me with such love in his eyes and caressing my face whilst I was singing to him 🥰 (these things don't happen everyday and they reminded me of how lucky I am) x

DD and DS climbing onto my knee at the same time for a big group cuddle. Learning to appreciate every little moment of joy.

My dog. And managed to get the kids to bed early, husband felt tired so has also gone to bed, so just me and the dog and whatever I want on tv this evening!

Congratulations! I also fell pregnant after 5 years of trying. I now have an 11 month old snoring away upstairs. I’m made up for you stranger on the internet!

Receiving the selfies of our 3 year old grandchild that our daughter found on her phone. Think World Gurning championship standard 🤣

My fourteen month old making use of his new walking powers to go up to his big brother and give him massive hugs. Also the proud smile on his face when he's walking and the double take he does when he realises there's something in his way and he needs to change direction 😁

The B&W female chased her tail around a scratching post for AT LEAST 10 minutes, while her ginger brother, classically in possession of only one brain cell like your average orange cat, thinks that the laces of my walking trainers are toys. So far so normal, but it was the fact he was trying to balance with all four feet on the top of my foot/ankle at the time. He’s no ballet dancer, that’s for sure!!!

17 weeks old on Wednesday and absolutely as daft as a brush!!!

After an horrific year last year and needing to earn more money, my DBS check came back today for what I hope is my dream job. Handing my notice tomorrow!!

Went for a walk with a friend who has been ill with depression. She is so much better, almost back to her normal self, chatting and laughing in a way that was lovely to hear.

Finally got the time to do my Lego flowers set.
Nearly finished it and it looks great.
I am not in any way artistic so it's wonderful to create something beautiful,even if it is done with instructions!

I just found a box of shortbread that I bought for Christmas and didn't open. I am so happy

Went on a boat trip in Lanzarote, Swam with fishes and saw actual whales in the sea!
