To ask about what made you happy today

Just feel like being cheered up with all the doom and gloom.
I’ll start.
Had my hair cut and for once it’s just how I wanted it. Think it makes me look a bit younger. 🙂

Oooh how exciting - what ones did you get? Mine are running out (cheap ones from Amazon) and I'd love to treat myself ☺️

I attended some work related training and I can now finally make sense of something I’ve been struggling with for months .

My Pilates class tonight helped ease my achy muscles.

My boss said she's glad I'm on the team and that I'm kind ❤️

Had a student take on advice and really turn his coursework around. Took it in for marking today and he's gone up two whole grades.

My dad who had major strokes in October moved his head of his own accord for the first time since then today.

The goats, like every day. They are just so enthusiastic about life and take no shit from anyone. And 1 week to go for kidding time, which is great, but can be tinged with sadness with any that don't make it.

I had a lovely beach walk with my dog and it actually felt like Spring was coming!

New headphones, a little picnic on the rain, and a day away from the office

I got a great sense of satisfaction from the absolute filth that came off my landing carpet today when I cleaned it - the water was almost black!

The satisfaction was lessened somewhat when I went to pour the filthy water down the toilet and dropped the bastard thing and spilt it all over the bathroom floor and half of it went back on the landing carpet…

Wine made me happy again (and dh cleaning up the spill).

The first snowdrop appeared in the garden.
I wore a spring jacket instead of my big winter coat and didn't feel cold.
I bought new glasses from Asda opticians instead of Vision Express and they cost £125 instead of >£400 (FYI, anyone with a massive prescription that usually costs £££ to thin, Asda do it for free! 🤯)
I'm currently snuggled up in bed between my two beautiful, sleeping DC and I think I'm just going to keep them both here in the big bed and soak up the cuddles all night instead of moving them into their own beds 🥰

I played tennis at lunchtime, it was such a laugh, really cheered me up.

I thought I was going to be sent to A and E an hour ago, but I wasn't, I'm fine, home already and my toddler is fast asleep on my lap. Happy, cosy times 😃

My new boyfriend is amazing. We are falling in love.

My 11 and 13 year olds mucking around together after dinner and laughing their heads off for about 30 minutes. No devices, no arguments, just really lovely.

Picking our children up from the childminder and my daughter screeching in an excitable voice "we're going on holidayyyy!" - for context we were heading off on holiday, it wasn't just a random toddler comment

A message from my sons teacher saying how well he is doing at school.

He is likely autistic and will generally not speak in class so it's great to have something so positive!

My dog didn’t greet me when I got home from work today, he was wrapped in my dressing gown, it really made me smile.

Found out I’m pregnant after 5 years of trying. Feel like my heart might burst. Can’t tell anyone just yet but want to scream from the rooftops with joy

It’s definitely not spring here but it was still daylight when I logged out and DD cooked us both a lovely dinner.

I went out to collect the eggs and found a massive double yolker in the nesting box!

DD who at one is very shy, got up and danced with the other children at her music group.

A client at work sent me pics of his new puppy!
