I love it, I have bought SO much for the pending arrival, but the offers are ridiculous. I have a mental minimum of £5 that I wont make a reduced offer on, bearing in mind peoples time to package and take parcel to wherever it needs to go, but I seem to be a minority. I have shoes with labels still on up for £4 and someone will offer me £3. Its £1 whole pound, pay it or don't.

Honestly, I'm at a point where even if its 50p request I'm rejecting it now. It really irritates the living poop out of me how desperate people are to get money off when the items are already so cheap.

I mean, I'd wonder what the point was of selling something for £4. Once you consider the time spent listing and posting the item is it really worth it?

I assume you do it because you need the money, and that's exactly why people try to get £1 off here and there, because THEY need the money.

I always imagine people list lots of items that are £4, it soon adds up over the month, that's the way to shift stuff rather than hanging on for someone to pay more for it.

Some people live really near Evri points/ in boxes so it's not a big deal to post items.

That's me really, I sell most things around £5 or slightly under, because that's more or less what I'd be prepared to pay for them on Vinted also. They're in excellent condition, but the buyer doesn't necessarily know that my idea of excellent is the same as theirs (I've found this when buying and receiving stuff I wouldn't have given away let alone claimed had only been worn once!) It's kid's stuff from places like Tu, Next, M&S - no point pricing it higher as people can buy new but in the sale for what it would end up coming to with fees and postage etc.

I'll only use inpost as there's a locker nearby and I don't have to faff about printing labels etc.

I don't particularly 'need' the money, but I do try to limit the amount of clothing, toys etc we buy brand new so I let the money sit in my vinted account and then when I'm looking for something for DD or myself I just use the balance.

Just bought a pair of Lululemon leggings from Vinted sold as ‘VGC’ no faults pointed out - when I get them they have obvious piling along the crotch. I know they aren’t new and are secondhand (and overall they do look nice) but if it were me I would show pictures in the listing - so frustrating - they weren’t dirt cheap I paid £20 for them + fee/postage. I haven’t pressed the ‘I have an issue button’ as know that even if I return I will have to pay WWYD - just keep or sell on (listing the faults) or flag up with the seller?
