Lacking a bit of inspiration this weekend, what is everyone else up to?

I'm about to go into the gym. Today I went to slimming world, met some friends for breakfast as it was one of them's birthday, sorted some crap drawers in the house, went for my drum lesson. Tomorrow is cleaning the bathroom and going to see my mum.

This morning I did an overtime shift at work 07.30-14.00. Home and did a long dog walk. Making food later and we will have a family night with our teens - we usually have a few snacks, drink and play cards and listen to music - we try and do this once a week.

tomorrow I have a double session at the gym and then DH wants to go shopping to pick ip
a few bits as he’s scheduled to have an op next week

Tidied out the greenhouse, went to buy animal feed, mucked out several animals, very windy family walk, Dh did some building work with dc ‘helping.’

Tomorrow I need to do early farm chores to sort everything out before the storm comes and shit blows around, then I’d like to go to the garden centre for tea, cake and seed shopping, and Dh might take one dc to do indoor climbing. Then we should really take the Christmas tree down because we still haven’t done it and it’s getting embarrassing now. 😂

@43ontherocksporfavor erm well I started them a couple of years ago. Wanted to learn an instrument and I thought it seemed quite difficult so DH got me a lesson and I took to it quite well and enjoyed it. I have days where I'm thinking this is great and others where I can't do it at all. It's £18 for 30 mins and it's a room in a music shop. What else would you like to know?

MummyMamaMe · 20/01/2024 18:24

Today was a nice day as I went to see my friend with my toddler and she made us lunch and it was nice to spend time together and talk 😊 She gave me some presents for my birthday next week as well 🥰

I’m not sure about tomorrow yet but I’m a SAHM so I’ll be doing stuff with my toddler and I might get some tidying done too 🤔

Everyone is doing so many interesting sounding things. I'm just getting over Covid and am pleased I actually went out for the first time yesterday to do some shopping. First time in 17 days as I'd had a cold in the run up to the virus. Today is a stormy day and I'm happy to sit inside, watch the birds on the feeders, play with my dog and just chill.

Well at the moment I'm still lying in bed farting while DH has been at work since 5am. I'm about to run a nice bath then do a bit of life admin before getting dinner prepared for this evening, a nice Paneer curry. So there.

@teaandtoastwithmarmite thank you! It’s been an ambition of mine. I love the idea but not sure I can do two rhythms at once. 😂

Cleaning, walk dog, do food shop for us and DM and drop hers to her.
DH ironing and get dinner and he will go for a run.
