Feeling poorly and haven't travelled for ages. Single mum with not a lot of money at the moment. I want to look wistfully and vicariously at beautiful parts of the country to inspire me back into full health and energy so I can maybe one day venture out again. Words about your life there welcome also.

@laudersyme - I reckon you're at the next town along the coast - we don't get that much beach even at low tide, but I know they do a couple of miles to the west! 😬

Everyone’s photos are gorgeous and lovely to see, great idea for a thread. I have some beautiful places around where I live but I can’t find any photos just now.

Last year in the snow, London.

That's where I grew up (not in the lighthouse!). Lovely coastline.

My favourite view right now is a building site. It's going to be a smart new school which is sorely needed in our area. I could watch the diggers all day, the skill those drivers have is amazing

Spectacular sunrise in Bedfordshire last month- genuinely no filter! One of the benefits of this time of year.

West coast of Scotland- also no filter. We try to go every year, it’s like a detox from the world.

This still takes my breath away even after 16+ years.
