To ask you to show me your beautiful parts of the country

Feeling poorly and haven't travelled for ages. Single mum with not a lot of money at the moment. I want to look wistfully and vicariously at beautiful parts of the country to inspire me back into full health and energy so I can maybe one day venture out again. Words about your life there welcome also.

My bit of southwestern Ireland.

I feel like I could totally spam this thread with pictures of where I live. I feel very fortunate. We live on the edge of the North Yorkshire moors with forests and moorlands to one side and then the beautiful stunning coastline to the other.

Couldn’t agree more. Lived on the outskirts of London for over 20yrs and I love it, I will never tire of it. Living just into Surrey I’ve got the best of both worlds and I love walking in the Surrey countyside but also love being in the big smoke in 30 mins

West coast of Scotland! The most beautiful beaches in the world.

Cornwall has such beautiful places. I'll need to try to convince my bf to take a road trip in the spring!

Half am hours walk from my house, Quantock hills on a frosty morning with a cloud inversion a few weeks ago.

One of my favourite places, in North Yorkshire when we had a brief snow covering last year.

Not in the UK but here's a pic of my region in Canada.

Lovely thread, really lifted my spirits thank you op for asking this. Here's the view from the hill behind my house in the Cotswolds.

The mighty Bamburgh, Northumberland aka the Last Kingdom.

Consistently voted the best beach and best place to live in the country.

It has really lifted my spirits too- much more than anticipated. I especially love seeing the variety- from beautiful rolling hills and lakes, to postboxes on the pavement and the motorway at night. To be honest, I was just expecting a few hedgerows, but The UK is so much more than I thought it was.

I'm going to sleep now, and hoping I wake up to so many more.

Ballintoy Harbour Northern Ireland. This place is just a few miles from home and is on a lovely coastal drive around the north coast of Northern Ireland.
