Feeling poorly and haven't travelled for ages. Single mum with not a lot of money at the moment. I want to look wistfully and vicariously at beautiful parts of the country to inspire me back into full health and energy so I can maybe one day venture out again. Words about your life there welcome also.

These are from New year's Day, Argyll and Bute area.

The Snowdon Horseshoe in North Wales.

At the top of Kelston Round Hill just north of Bath at the start of the Cotswold Way.
I love the fact that all the important amenities are signposted.

Beautiful view from the top of Cheddar Gorge. Walked up through the village, took a right at the bottom of the gorge, up some steps to Jacob's Ladder and the tower, then kept going.
Walked back the road way through the gorge.
