So so tired went to be at 930 slept to 530 had a drink went back bed until 830 napped on sofa 11-12 then walked the dogs. now im just so so tired again apparently this is normal in your 40’s according to my doctor. I can’t see it but I haven’t the energy to take it on

imnotwhoyouthinkiam · 13/01/2024 19:18

My feet are freezing, like usual. I don't know if it's my diabetes or a side effect of one of the other meds I take. I need to see the doctor to check. But of course can't get an appointment.

I also came on this afternoon. So have a headache, backache and period pains.

And my hand is playing up so my finger keeps 'locking'

And I have a cold. Only mild thankfully.

Hope everyone is better soon. Flowers

CherryRipe1 · 13/01/2024 19:35

Ditto. Horrible temperature

GreyhpundGirl · 13/01/2024 19:58

I very rarely get ill but have been run down since before Christmas. I seem to have fatigue as walking up stairs or any sort of physical exertion is like doing a HIIT workout. My legs feel like lead, and my lung capacity seems reduced, it's been like this for 2/3 weeks. I was hoping it would just get better (am reasonably fit and healthy) but it hasn't. I'll ring the GP next week....

MistressWeatherwax1 · 13/01/2024 20:02

Laryngitis, had no voice since Thursday and a temp since yesterday. Been one bug after the other since November.

Cold sores and headache - always the same now the day before my period is due.

I had cold sores before my period for years. Acyclovir tablets from the gp stopped them completely. I now take 1 a day ,2 if i feel a tingle on my lips and it comes to nothing.
Try them, they are fantastic.

AhBiscuits · 13/01/2024 20:04

I feel a bit queasy, but it's because I'm on Wegovy. I'm used to it.

MeinKraft · 13/01/2024 20:06

A bladder infection that I suspect is working its way up...I'll still take it over toothache!

redastherose · 13/01/2024 20:22

Covid, feel really poorly atm plus I also have plantar fasciitis and have had it for around 2 1/2 years. Wish it would bugger off.

wetpebbles · 13/01/2024 20:57

My chiropractor treats plantar fasciitis, worth a try for those suffering.
I wear shoes with insoles now to keep it at bay.
I'd also recommend alternate hot and cold water foot baths so 5 mins in hot, 5 mins in cold , for 30 mins total, a couple times a day
( as hot and cold as you can manage)

AceofPentacles · 13/01/2024 21:19

Sore back from yoga injury

Got a callback from my mammogram on Monday

NancyJoan · 13/01/2024 21:24

Neck and shoulders rigid and sore too.

Splodgerbodgerbadger · 13/01/2024 21:25

plantar fasciitis.
Nothing helps but at least it’s only 1 foot at the moment!

I think that is the worst thing l have ever had. You have my full sympathy.

weegiemum · 13/01/2024 21:34

I have a cold.

I have breast cancer (waiting for upcoming radiotherapy).

I have an ongoing neurological illness which causes mobility issues, loss of sensation, tiredness and dizziness.

Muchtoomuchtodo · 13/01/2024 21:53

Well I have a strange feeling breast, thickened almost. Underwires are digging in on that side Hard to describe but been like it since the middle of November. GP not sure so I have an appointment at breast clinic next week.

Nothing feeling wrong, but I have a very high risk of bowel cancer so I have regular colonoscopies. I had my appointment through today for the beginning of February - not something to look forward to but I feel grateful for the change for regular screening.

i am very sneezy this evening, hopefully that’s as bad as any of these three things get!

PlumpAndGrump · 13/01/2024 21:54

I had a gallbladder attack last night and have had some residual pain all day. Awful 😞

Get well soon everyone.

LyndaSnellsSniff · 13/01/2024 21:56

So many of us seem to have multiple issues/conditions that are just part of our daily lives.

Lots of plantar sufferers. I've had it once and it was awful. That first burning pain when you get out of bed in the morning. 😢 I had my foot lasered and taped up which helped lots. I also got a spiky ball to roll my foot on, that felt amazing!

WavyLines11 · 13/01/2024 22:10

I have chronic upper back pain, woke up yesterday with a painful shoulder, think it's a muscle strain from sitting awkwardly at my desk.

Ongoing tension headaches and tinnitus. I genuinely can't remember the last time I had a day of being painfree. My 80yr old dm has less aches and pains then I do!

Whatever it is, I hope you'll feel better when the decision is made.

@mathanxiety thank you, your message means a lot. I think I will too, it's just a bit scary!

High blood pressure
Pre diabetes
Fatty liver

Thought I had a cold, but it's covid .
So that's nice.

ChocolateCinderToffee · 13/01/2024 22:38

Had the shits last night, and stomach ache most of today. Not sure if it's noro and I've had it so many times it's now mild, or something else.

Feeling out of sorts generally.

Mine arrived in May and is mostly gone now so it will get better.

Early stage endometrial cancer discovered just before Christmas so a full hysterectomy next week.

MoonlightMemories · 13/01/2024 22:54

Been on the verge of having a panic attack all day (due to work-related issues that were proving very difficult to solve) today, had that sort of almost gasping/feeling short of breath feeling like when you start hyperventilating, but without it being full blown - full of adrenaline for like 6 hours straight. I feel physically and mentally exhausted now.
