Having a miscarriage. Had the pills last night so its starting to calm down. Luckily, I have a really high pain threshold so didn't even had to use the painkillers I was given.

Really sorry to hear this news.

wlv12 · 13/01/2024 17:29

I’ve got a torn meniscus and am waiting for surgery next month, it’s very painful. Sat with foot resting and bored with doing little!

Friarclose · 13/01/2024 17:30

My hair looks like frizzy candyfloss.
My right ear hurts a bit on the outside.

Other than that I'm OK, which for me is very good as I always seem to have something going on 😑

Whattiez · 13/01/2024 17:31

Sorry to hear of your toothache. There's nothing worse. Does it tempt you to just go in there and remove the tooth yourself? I used to daydream of spooning mine out! Don't think it'd be that easy though.

Flat stools today, with blood. Waiting on letter from colorectal for investigations. Anxiety sky high, which won't be helping the gut!

EC22 · 13/01/2024 15:56

Same that’s wrong with me every day and has been for years.
plantar fasciitis.
Nothing helps but at least it’s only 1 foot at the moment!

I bought some compression socks, they helped a lot with the pain.

DramaAlpaca · 13/01/2024 17:35

Depression. I'm so down at the moment all I want to do is sleep. It's improved a bit though, a couple of weeks ago all I did was cry. It's partly due to the time of year and partly a life decision I need to make which is very stressful.

Funkyslippers · 13/01/2024 17:38

Feeling v lethargic. No energy. I've had a few early mornings working recently and my sleep has suffered so I think it's just caught up with me

loobylou10 · 13/01/2024 17:41

Frozen shoulder since July. Agony, fed up now 😩

TheCatterall · 13/01/2024 17:42

Tooth extraction/crown removal (canine?) yesterday. They couldn’t get roots out so that needs surgical intervention another day. Got a denture for now to stop the gap closing whilst it heals and my whole face feels bruised from the dentist leaning and pushing against it trying to get the crown and post out. Mouth is swelling around denture which I can’t remove for another 24 hours. Very hungry but nauseous at the idea of eating anything.

discovered the joy that is fizzy codeine as paracetamol is not helping.

other than that - shingles started as I’m ill and run down.

Neuralgia started on face and spine thanks to shingles - gaberpentin helping with that.

Plantar fasciitis in both feet - but got decent insoles and now wearing supportive shoes not all the ballet flats and elasticated sketchers that I love. It’s improving nicely. Few physio and yoga moves also help. No more barefoot all around the house for me.

Funky toe nails but the magical lamasil 1% spray is slowly taking care of that.

Massive squishes to you all whatever your ailments are. After spending November and December with flu/pneumonia and then a cold i send my tissues and old as oil etc to whomever needs it.

HellonHeels · 13/01/2024 17:43

Depression. Menopausal rage. Pain from widom tooth extraction (but much much better than having toothache). Recovering from covid and still have annoying cough.

youdontneedtopoo · 13/01/2024 17:46

I am recovering from a lumpectomy and lymph node removal. My arm is very swollen, both numb and very painful at the same time!

Ionacat · 13/01/2024 17:47

Chest infection here off the back of the flu. (Covid tests were negative.) Not felt this rough for so long since glandular fever many many years ago. Part of the issue is I manage 3 hours sleep having taken Lemsip max and then I wake up every hour coughing.

Sorry to hear so many other people are unwell too.

Paw2024 · 13/01/2024 17:48

Huge endometriosis flare
Taken mefanamic acid, paracetamol, dihydrocodeine and oral morphine. Might as well have taken smarties
It's dulled down from unable to get off the floor but hurts to stand or walk

Whatever it is, I hope you'll feel better when the decision is made.

Disabledmomma · 13/01/2024 17:49

Two fractures to my pelvis 8 weeks ago - but I have osteoporosis so it’s not healing.
There is a possibility it’s an avulsion fracture. I’m waiting for a scan.
I’m so sick of staring at the bedroom ceiling. I’ve read so many books. We also have little to no internet signal. Some twit came off the road and hit a junction box 1000 homes without Wi-Fi. My 3/4 g is shocking.

ghostyslovesheets · 13/01/2024 17:52

Recovering from a virus that made me sick and dizzy - and the cat headbutted my nose - hard - trying to get away from his spot on - so now I have a headache

blackteaplease · 13/01/2024 17:53

@CleanLaundryDay pilates helped a lot for me, it was recommended by my women's health physio when I had post partum pgp

Curlewwoohoo · 13/01/2024 17:53

Full of snot and knackered, tail end of a virus. Bad back giving me sore knees. Tiny bit hungover.

Mammyloveswine · 13/01/2024 17:54

Ive got pneumonia..was hospitalised but home now. Feeling exhausted and my lung hurts but I'm much better than I was.

Just want to be well!

Toastcrumbsinsofa · 13/01/2024 17:54

I’ve got a ringworm rash under my breasts and it’s very itchy. I’ve just started using an anti fungal cream but right now I’m in a supermarket with my DH and trying not to scratch under my boobs through my clothes! Smile

Xanadu58 · 13/01/2024 17:55

Painful left hip

Tarkan · 13/01/2024 18:04

So sorry to hear that Asking. Flowers

I had an SVT attack while in the pub last night. It makes my whole body go weak and I struggle to move. Thanks to DH, the pub staff and a wonderful friend they managed to get me home and in bed. Poor DH barely slept as he was constantly checking on me, the attack finally stopped just after 11am.

I also have fibromyalgia so lying down for so long has caused my body to end up sore all over and my back especially is agony now as a result.

It's DH's birthday today so we had a meal out with my parents planned and then going to the footy but I ended up not going to either. Sad

I'm on medication for the SVT so normally if an attack starts it ends very quickly but this was one of the worst attacks I've had in a long time. I'll be trying to speak to the doctor about it this week. Sad

My vision is deteriorating, blurry. I dunno when I will decide to go get new glasses.

I managed to fail to break my arm yesterday, despite best efforts (clumsy avoidable fall while chopping wood). Arm is a little sore but deffo ok.

I have a persistent mild cough since early December. Probably a string of viral infections run together. I can run or swim fine, though.

Crown needs replacing, at least I think so. Need to talk to dentist. No pain, can eat fine, will probably be ££££ to sort, though.

lots of randomish niggles, most of which started 30+ years ago

... hunting for cough drops.

Honestly the vision is the most debilitating thing, rest is very manageable. I'd say I'm in very robust good health, actually.

Oh and a random insect bite on my chest & probable athletes foot on a few toes. Those things are only distracting, though.
