School mum I know vaguely as our kids are friendly. We went out once and I mentioned I could get a reduction on tjr food due to my job. Now she's texting asking me for voucher codes for shops etc. I've ignored her.

My DH used to work for a large retailer and god a fantastic discount. It was in t& c's that this discount was for his and my use only ( as his spouse).
A woman started work in my company and someone mentioned in passing where my husband worked. She then barged into my office and TOLD me that I HAD to use the discount to get a big ticket item for her. Id never even said as much as hello to this woman. Now thats proper CFery !
( My answer was hell no & leave my office )

@SamphiretheTervosaurReturneth apologies I didn’t read it correctly. I thought she offered to share codes not just mention that she had them. And no. I don’t use bluelight codes despite having a card. I actually tried to use it once for Jo Malone and it was such a bloody faff and only applicable to certain products that I gave up. I don’t use any nhs discounts. It feels necky. But, the bluelight is incredibly widespread and people do share codes which is fine. Why not if it applies to something that someone actually wants. If you don’t want to share someone else will. OP just Tell her to ask on social media rather than texting you. Job done.

It is cheeky to ask.
But it is also a strange thing to tell people, unless you are going to offer them the codes.

Lol she told them because she used it while she was with her. Would be weird to secretly get the discount when the bill comes
