It's a joke, some people find it funny and some don't. It's not offensive in my view, the butt of the joke is the person who makes it, it's not a nasty joke that targets someone else.

the thing is, when you’ve been in power as long as we conservatives have, and done so much political manoeuvring… Been through so many different regimes of PM, and had to fire lots of people for bad conduct etc etc. there really aren’t many good candidates left to replace me.
