To ask what's gone wrong with your Christmas so far?

Just because I'm revelling in my own misery.

DS has been up all night with his 3rd raging stomach bug of the month. I thought we'd got unlucky enough to have 2 floor the house but I'm now running on no sleep while he can't keep anything in either end. I am SO obsessed with Christmas Eve and Christmas.. I know it's little in the long-term but I'm just so gutted and absolutely terrified it's going to keep spreading through the house.

So give me something to distract me and tell me what has gone wrong for you for Christmas this year.

This was a whip out the credit card in panic job! It’s SO awful - I can hear it/them scrabbling about already. No evidence so far but I will absolutely not sleep tonight! How was yours discovered? Merry Christmouse in solidarity.

@fourelementary got the bits you suggested, thanks so much, but now we have a bit of a problem.... yesterday, when trying to remove the original one and apply the non stick dressing, I just couldn't. It was completely stuck and hurt so much 🙁. I couldn't do it and couldn't trus dh to do it either.... What do you sugges? try again to just rip it off? 😬. Think I may need to see a nurse to do it right but there's no minor injuries here. Should I just wait for Wednesday?

So, as well as not being able to be with my family due to covid, I got a call at 7am, to say my mum had been blue lighted to hospital with chest issues at 3am.

I feel totally useless as can't go and help my dad and sister.

Sending love and best wishes to everyone where something is going / has gone wrong and I sincerely hope that every who has ill family members or are grieving are as ok as they can be.

The terriers and cat were staring to start (cat in airing cupboard and terriers under the sink). I was not 100% sure. Til I saw a bugger running through my kitchen 😬
