Will you help me name my dog?

I adopted him last week from the rescue centre. I think he’s a lab crossed with a viszla. He’s very tall, about 9 months old. I don’t like the name he came with, he doesn’t respond to it anyway. Here’s some names I like

Rolo
Bertie
Reg

i can’t think of any more!

A 2 syllable name is better for them to recognise so I would go with Bertie 😊

I've come across some good ones at work but forgotten them all now, very usefully - Winnie seems really popular lately (boys and girls), not sure why. Currently chatting to four puppy owners with a Winnie which is very confusing!

I like good strong two syllable names for dogs as I think they hear them better.

So it's Bertie for me with Rolo in second place and a no to Reg

Rolo would be my choice from the ones you have on your list - just a bit more unusual than the others.

Second the advice for a middle name, two of mine have them and report they feel VERY fancy indeed! One of mine is an Esquire also... its on his vet records n everything!

These are great, Munch is particularly suitable as he’s eaten everything in sight since he moved in, including my slippers and gloves 😂

One of my friends has a dog named Simon which, frankly, is even better than the names I gave my dogs! So I’m offering it to you as a suggestion - there’s definitely a Simon look about your gorgeous lad 😄

It was Gully. I just don’t like it at all. He just looks puzzled when I call him that anyway. He’s had a couple of homes previously so I think he’s just generally confused
