Aibu to point out that 'Mumsnet' is currently trending on Twitter/X because a labour MP has (rather comically) reported it to the police?

Dawn Butler has reported Mumsnet as a whole to the police, for talking to each other and Having Views she does not like.

It's terrifying someone who's willing to simply take the word of some random person (could even be a troll or a bot) on twitter as truth without even bothering to spend 30 seconds online trying to verify their claims is an MP.

And it does go some way to explain the mess this country is in.

She's not actually in government, nor responsible for the mess this country is in, whatever you might think of her.

What is your BU aspect? I don't care about Twitter for one nano-second.

The BU is that a sitting MP - who as a PP has pointed out is paid via our taxes - has suggested an entire site of women talking be reported to the police on the word of someone on twitter even though she's not read anything they've said.

Not to mention the insults against said massive group of normal, tax paying, voting women.
