To think Taylor Swift will one day run for President and might even win?

I mean her success in music is staggering and she is obviously somebody who is extremely narcissistic driven.

I am not saying she would do this anytime soon but perhaps in say 20 - 30 years time.

She has an enormous fan base and the media seem to love her. Heck, she could almost fund her own presidential campaign.

Hillary wasn't that popular a choice.

Hillary literally won the popular vote in the 2016 election.

The Kansas City Chiefs keep losing now so maybe not?

Hillary literally won the popular vote in the 2016 election.

But she also literally lost the election to someone who, at that time, was a historically unpopular Republican candidate.

I already explained that.

I think America isn't evolved to a place yet where they would have a female president.

I already explained that.

But her and Trump were the two least popular candidates in history - so I don’t see how you can reasonably quibble with a PP saying Clinton wasn’t that popular a choice when she obviously was not.

Are you blaming Taylor for that?

Donald won in 2016 because people didn’t vote — either because they were positive Hillary Clinton was going to win and they didn’t need to or because they simply didn’t care.
Voter apathy has always been a problem in the US.
Russian disinformation was also a significant issue in the 2016 presidential campaign.

Just because you’re a popular celebrity or singer doesn’t mean you’d make a brilliant president.
People have pretty much caught on to that.

Agreed that being a popular celebrity does not equate to being a brilliant president but it does give someone a massive platform to launch from.

@Edinburghguy
Never say Never

Rember weirdly that the Simpsons longest running cartoon series was the visionary one who predicted that Trump would one day became president in one of its episode's.!

Taylor Swift is ballsy and sassy outspoken rich enough and has enough of a fan base Watch this space then?

Exactly.

Something about her personality makes me think she’ll move into politics when her pop stardom starts to dwindle.
