Just discovered 'Ghosts' - is Robin and the Space Station the funniest clip ever in the whole wide world.....???

Honestly! DD15 and I discovered Ghosts a few weeks ago and have been watching whenever we can. Not sure what series we're on but we've seen two Christmases so maybe series three?

Anyway - it really is one of the funniest series I have seen for decades (having been brought up on Blackadder and Red Dwarf the bar was high, plus my kids don't always appreciate the older stuff....).

Just seen one where something happens to make them all stare into the sky to remember lost loved ones. I won't spoil it but anyone who has seen it will know which episode I mean. I can't find the clip on Youtube - if anyone can add a link that would be great!! I cried with laughter - but it's poignant and hilarious too......

I found the American version first because of the actress who was in izombie. I really enjoyed it and only knew there was a british version from mumsnet.

We LOVE Ghosts. My DH has watched the Fools episode dozens of times. I watched the US version and found it hard going. I persevered and really enjoyed it. DH hated it.

It's brilliant. We have been eeking out the episodes. We watched all the US version really quickly. Enjoyed that too.
What a shame there's no more being made.

We often quote Pat when he was telling the spooky campfire story, "This an actual true story actually"

DP and I only got round to watching Ghosts in the past few weeks and have now binge-watched most of it and we’re halfway through series 4. Both Robin and the Captain are adorable and I fancy them both.

Love it here. Love the gently comedy and the moving bits. My favourite bit is when the ghosts join Alison around the piano and sing In the Bleak Mid Winter.

Us too. It used to be laugh out loud funny but I think they just ran out of jokes, situations and back stories. We watch because we always have but it's finishing at the right time and we will watch the last episode.

American Ghosts was dreadful, we gave up sfter one episode.

I like both the US and UK versions.
The US was good in that they have contact with other ghosts, one is a friend of the Indian and is at an office in town, and Samanthas Mum was a ghost in a diner.
The ghost stuck in the car was good too. The girl going to her prom who lives in the attic makes me laugh.

I have had an enduring love for Mathew Baynton since the early days of Horrible Histories.

I'm with you OP. I've only just finished the series. I actively avoided it for years as I thought it would be annoying. My DS (9) loves it and we watched it together. He's rewatching it with my DP who was also sceptical at first but saw how funny it was so started from the beginning. Thankfully a lot of the grown up jokes go over DS head and I told him all about the lovely Kim Wilde and how DP had a crush on her 😂
We're all Robin fans here too. There are some lovely poignant moments and seeing their death stories are quite moving at times too.
Have you seen the Comic Relief short with Kylie Minogue. Very funny.
Also Horrible Histories is hilarious!

Robin, Humphrey and the Captain are adorable. Mary is wonderful.

I love how Fanny's sharpness and Kitty's overwhelming sweetness are in perfect balance. Pat's earnestness and also amazing ability to see through every April Fool were perfect. And Julian... mostly ghastly, occasionally wonderful. (Sorry, Thomas, you are only ever on my Con list)

So glad you are enjoying it op. I have loved every episode, so sad it’s over. I am really looking forward to the last Christmas special though. I may then rewatch from episode 1.
