Re-watching Buffy and Angel ……

I used to love those shows and had a huge crush on Angel. But seriously rewatching now:

• men smacking women around. Angel beating up a pregnant Darla
• Angel obviously a lot older than Buffy and climbing in to her 16 year old bedroom…..
• Fred is annoying as hell with her babbling
• What happened to Wesley’s English accent in Angel?

Not sure the show would be as well received now!

I will remember you is the name of the episode where Angel turns human for a day...I'm still mad at him for asking the Powers that Be to turn back time so he could kill the Morah demon straight away 🤣

Angel bulked out a lot during the seasons as David Boreanaz injured his knee/required surgery.

Can you tell I was a total fan girl?! 🤦🏼‍♀️

I watched it again and read far more into Faith's risky behaviour and desperation for a boundary-setting father figure.

They are all my favourites too! DS is an adult now but watched them with us when it was first on.
I think that's the difference sometimes, if you watched it the first time then you are maybe less critical.
We still quote Buffy stuff, even the grr ahhg in the titles!
