Fuck you, McDonald's

Those of you only interested in telling me I'm unreasonable for eating in McDonald's, can save your fingers. I'm not going to be back in a hurry, Christmas fucking music (Noddy Holder followed by Tom Jones) and worse, they've changed the barbecue sauce and now it's minging. I came in here for some emotional eating and I'm leaving enraged.

Maybe that's because you don't get jalapeño sauce.

Maple syrup is 100% maple syrup. Country of origin has nothing to do with this designation. There is American and Swedish maple syrup a well as Canadian. Vermont, Maine, New Hampshire, and New York sell different grades of syrup. Some lighter syrups are better for pancakes, and darker syrup is for baking. There is also solid maple sugar, which is coarser grained than cane or beet sugar. American abolitionists often used only maple sugar and honey as sweetening to avoid purchases of slave produced goods.

Kids these days - out of control.

The food is okish, i prefer the burgers when on special offer, otherwise its fries, and chicken burger or basic burgers, some times i have a hot choc but its a mix, i do love the pancakes and syrup.

The Philly cheesesteak special they’re doing at the minute is banging. I’ll be sad when it goes.

I also miss the bagels. As well as one breakfast special they did which was sausage, mushrooms and cheese on a floured type roll. It was divine.

That’s a bit harsh 😂😂😂 I sometimes wish that when I ask my 10 year old what she wants for tea, it isn’t ‘McDonald’s’ and that is partly my fault because when I can’t be arsed I dump McDonald’s on her! To children, McDonald’s is learnt behaviour cravings!

I’m a chip dunker and have been for years. The kids ain’t taking this one from me, they can have the skinny brows and the flares, but not the chips dunked in shake.

Ours too. I go in, get the food, take it to the car. It is better than the other options I think, easy to check it is right (and hot) easy to check dips etc. Slightly more faff, but always right.

'S OK, my kids are very well "nutritioned" all the carrots mean they can spot typos very easily

I’m a Brit, living in the US. It’s just called Pancake Syrup. It’s delicious (never look at the ingredients).

My DH has now discovered these, much to his delight, we only go to Macy’s about 4 times a year but I swear nearly every time the milkshake machine is not working.. in any branch! It ruins the whole thing 😡

except now DH has discovered caramel frappes he’s in the ‘I’m all right jack’ camp, I would join him but I don’t like coffee..

if they ever get rid of the sweet & sour sauce I don’t think I’d ever go there!
