Fuck you, McDonald's

Those of you only interested in telling me I'm unreasonable for eating in McDonald's, can save your fingers. I'm not going to be back in a hurry, Christmas fucking music (Noddy Holder followed by Tom Jones) and worse, they've changed the barbecue sauce and now it's minging. I came in here for some emotional eating and I'm leaving enraged.

Well, I might as well have my McDonald's rant! Why is it that they can never manage to send a full order when ordered on Deliveroo etc? They mostly always forget the dips and usually at least one or two other items. I won't order from them anymore before this happens every single time. And the first few times Deliveroo refunded me no problem. Last time they refused. So I not only had an upset child, spent ages on bloody live chat (I'm sure it's just AI) but they refused to refund me so I paid for things I didn't receive!

The one near me only lets you do this up to a certain time 🙁. The drive thru is always packed as well and so slow.

Presumably OP you are OK with giving your custom to a company that does little to protect young staff from harassment or worse?

They were playing Christmas music in Tesco last week, but really, really quietly, as though the order to play it had come from up top but the staff in store had stuck it on at minimal volume in order to try and save their sanity! I had to strain my ears to catch 'Siiiimmmmppplllyyyy, Havvvvvvviiinngg, a WonderFUL Christmas Time!'

Hmm...I would imagine it's not actual maple syrup but we had 'maple flavoured' syrup in a Travel Lodge in the summer so maybe it's that?

Oh the bagel with its glorious cheese hole. I miss it every day.

I remove the egg from a sausage, egg and cheese mcmuffin and add an extra sausage and extra cheese. It's disgusting and amazing.

Although, I'm still displeased about a recent delivery that took 90 minutes to come and (as it had changed drivers), it was ice cold. Had a massive argument with them to get a refund!
