Who gets the voucher?
Adult A buys adult B a t shirt for a birthday.. T shirt is too big. Adult C offers to swap it as they have a day off that week. Adult A and B don't. T shirt is now half price and refund is given in a voucher..
Who gets the voucher?.
Adult A who paid.
Adult B who had the birthday.
Adult C who gave up their time to return it. Albeit they offered.
I have already decided but am I fair in my thinking?

I'm surprised this is even a question... surely it's B, the t-shirt was for them so the voucher should be given to them to get it in a different size or get something else

Shoxfordian · 14/11/2023 12:21

B as it was their present so they should be able to buy something else

sweetpickle23 · 14/11/2023 12:22

B, obviously.

dammit88 · 14/11/2023 12:23

B definitely!

Zimunya · 14/11/2023 12:23

I can't see that there's even a question here. It's C, of course.

JUST JESTING! Obviously it is B.

NotFastButFurious · 14/11/2023 12:23

B unless A gets it and then buys B a different present.

CurlewKate · 14/11/2023 12:24

Obviously B. Or possibly A. Never C unless it was massively, massively inconvenient.....

Birdie8989 · 14/11/2023 12:24

Adult B, unless Adult A has brought them a replacement gift

SM4713 · 14/11/2023 12:25

B

ManateeFair · 14/11/2023 12:26

Well, obviously B?! It was their present that was exchanged so they get the voucher in place of the original gift. It's not their fault the t-shirt didn't fit!

CurlewKate · 14/11/2023 12:27

I can see circumstances where C gets stuck in 6 hours of traffic where A might say "Oh poor C-I'm sorry that happened. Here, you have the voucher" but obviously C then says "I wouldn't hear of it- it was a pleasure!"

Prettypaisleyslippers · 14/11/2023 12:28

B

Username2864 · 14/11/2023 12:28

B how can it be anyone else?

A gifted to B
B needed a replacement
C has no financial interest in this

Endeavormorse · 14/11/2023 12:29

B

A or B then, but probably B

Definitely not C

Nuca · 14/11/2023 12:40

Well that was a massive dripfeed whether it was an accident or not😆

So they got the replacement t-shirt half price and then the difference between the sale price and the original price was given in a voucher?

cardibach · 14/11/2023 12:41

B. The refund is part of the original present, even though they wouldn’t have otherwise had it. A chose to spend a certain amount of money on B. The voucher is part of that.

Craver · 14/11/2023 12:42

B

Santaiswashinghissleigh · 14/11/2023 12:43

Voucher is at the bottom of the gift bag with new better fitting t shirt...

B. It’s not even a debate I don’t think?
