How often do you see your parents?

Daily, weekly, monthly, yearly etc?

Every 3-6 months - probably nearer the latter. Live on opposite sides of the country - East Anglia to Welsh borders.

Speak every week (or so).

Mum: couple of times a month
Dad: once every month or two
PIL: too bloody much!! at least once a week, DP sees them more if it was up to them it would be every other day!

I speak to my mum and dad on the phone every few day. MIL calls daily but I speak to her once or twice a week on the phone.

It's fluctuated over time. When my DSs were tiny I probably spoke to my mum multiple times a day and saw her weekly. And spent more time with all the parents when on maternity leave

4-5 times a year, they live abroad. Usually for a weekend, but a full week in the summer.

Dad - NC - so only once in 16 years.
Mum - LC - 30 minutes every couple of weeks.
MiL - deceased.
PIL - a few times a year as his new wife does not want him to have any contact with his DC. We have to fight hard to see him at all.

My parents live in same town. We were 5 mins walk away but moved house earlier this year. Some weeks we see then several times but sometimes a couple of weeks will go by when we don’t catch up - just depends on work and what we’ve all got going on. Love spending time with them.

in laws - FIL is deceased and MIL is now in a care home. DH visits every 2 weeks but usually on his day off which is usually when I’m working so I haven’t seen her in months
