One of these

My sister and I had one of those. The novelty wore off quite quickly. The chances of my parents providing an endless supply of mini dairy milks was zero, so we'd dispense them all by inserting 2ps and then put them back in again, which soon got boring.

Sugar Puffs cereal with the glow in the dark dinosaur footprint stickers. I think it was likely a promotion for Jurassic Park coming out. Actually, any cereal with a prize inside. Oh! Sure one was a glow in the dark/colour change spoon... Maybe that was Coco Pops...
I just like surprises.

If it has to be something I wanted growing up then it would have to be all of the Lego my parents couldn't afford.

I remember my mum won £300 at bingo in the late 90's and I overheard. I thought I was hot shit because I calculated how much it would cost to buy the Lego castle and extras I wanted, how much that would leave her and what she might be able to buy for herself with the leftover money. I never saw that castle 🤣.
