Hot on the heals of the news that Mars are discontinuing the Dark Chocolate Bounty, Nestle have confirmed they are discontinuing Caramac.

I’m in confectionary mourning.

Caramac was my favourite growing up. But I confess I haven’t bought a bar for decades. It’s all my fault.

Aldi have a new Blonde chocolate. I think it's quite similar. Better than nothing, anyway. We are on our second bar since Sunday 🙈

YABU - as much as the chocolate is nice - they are made by Nestle who have some evil practices.

I loved it as a child but when I tried it again it was all waxy. Caramilk was just vile.
Does anyone remember when you could get chocolate digestives with caramac on them? Sooo good. Must have been in the 1970s.

As a devastated caramac lover I tried Cadbury Caramilk yesterday.

It is REVOLTING - tasteless fatty slime. So bad I actually threw it away, despite being trapped in the car on a long journey with no other sweeties to keep me going. That bad.

Doubly devastated now.
