You are exceptionally entitled, have you any idea how long that would take? Nobody is stopping you from reading and researching for yourself , as I did. I would love to post a link to my PhD where much evidence is compiled and presented but I obviously can’t for reasons of safety and anonymity.

When anyone ever asks Hellebore for evidence, she posts lots of it, peer-reviewed academic scientific stuff rather than transwomen bloggers.

Hellebore knows her stuff and proves it time and time again on these boards.

Males are not subject to misogyny.

quite! I don’t need misogyny mansplained to me by someone who thinks they’re a woman because they wear feminine attire and like doing some of the things some women also like doing

I know! The fact that they equate the shallow and completely removable experience of wearing women's clothing with actual misogyny is ample demonstration that they literally have no idea.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 07/11/2023 14:39

I would report this, but people like to pretend there’s no transphobia on mumsnet so better to leave it here.

I'm talking about trans rights activists like Serano, and how they manipulate naive people.

So trans people who speak about trans issues and advocate for themselves to be allowed to live in dignity and equality as their authentic selves?

Ereshkigalangcleg · 07/11/2023 14:46

But again, @Tandora, what do you think of Serano's quote:

"While I never really believed the cliché about women being good for only one thing, I found that that sentiment kept creeping into my fantasies. In my late teens, I would imagine myself being sold into sex slavery and having strange men take advantage of me."

Helleofabore · 07/11/2023 14:47

Mamasharp97 · 07/11/2023 13:45

If you genuinely want to learn and be educated on how trans women are in fact women and not men, here is a wonderful article for you to read about the genetic links in transgenderism

https://mytransgenderdate.com/blog/2020/10/the-science-behind-transgender

Can you please explain which aspect of this link, which I have now read, that you have based your assertions that these male trans people are not male?

For any readers, if you plug this link into one of the archive sites it will take you through to a blog post.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 07/11/2023 14:48

Males are authentically male. They aren't actually women and I don't want them speaking over women about what it is to be a woman.

As above, I suggest you read her book rather than pulling out a decontextualised and sensationalist quotes in an attempt to demonise her. I have no interest in unpacking and debating a discombobulated quote. Happy to discuss the book.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 07/11/2023 14:50

Can't we? I've just painted a huge rainbow in my sons bedroom at his request. Must be a 4 year old secret TRA in his spare time. I don't know how I missed it, the warning signs were all there. He really likes rainbows.

Does he like pink, white and blue stripes too? It's not about the rainbow, but I think you know that. How about the Palestinian flag, or the Israeli flag, would he like those colours on his wall too?

Theeyeballsinthesky · 07/11/2023 14:50

julia can live as their authentic self until what Julia wants conflicts with women’s rights ti their own single spaces & places where such things matter for example to preserve safety & dignity or to balance years of under representation by women. At that point a choice has to be made whether to keep the single sex space for women or let in a man.

MavisMcMinty · 07/11/2023 14:51

My favourite flag is the Lebanese flag, with the lovely cedar tree in the middle.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 07/11/2023 14:51

There are many things more palatable and edifying I can do than read about male sexual fantasies. You do you though, if you find it illuminating in some way.

Tandora · 07/11/2023 14:42

Of course they can. No one is stopping them. What they can't do is gatecrash women's single sex spaces, women's refuges and rape crisis shelters, women's breastfeeding groups, women's short lists, women's sports, women's prisons, lesbian groups etc etc. And they can't insist we all agree that they are actual women under the threat of criminal law.
Other than that crack on with performing any feminine stereotypes that make you happy.

Tandora · 07/11/2023 14:30

@Helleofabore you have followed me around, being exceptionally rude, personally attacking and insulting me on numerous threads.

If you believe there is no credit to my claims- if I have demonstrated nothing to support them- then you really don’t need to work so hard at trying to discredit me. I am not your problem. There is really no need to continue to berate me. It would be better for everyone if you didn’t.

I think you are spreading harmful misinformation so hence I keep asking you for evidence. Of which, you have not supplied any.

And you are hypocritical to call me 'exceptionally rude'. You have called me many things in the past, including ignorant. While never actually then addressing the evidence that I have posted. Something that if you have a Phd in the topic would be of benefit to all those who were reading and very easy supposedly for you to do.

And you have abused a woman on this very thread.

So, I will take your 'exceptionally rude'. Because I would rather be exceptionally rude then spreading harmful misinformation about the treatment of children and adolescents. It is just as important for readers to understand that you have no evidence that you keep claiming to have, as it is for you to keep repeating that the evidence is there and that you resort abuse and accuse others who question you.

I am very happy to keep posting that you have no evidence when you keep posting that you have evidence that you cannot or will not produce. Public forums are great like that.

I have not abused anyone.

It is you who keeps harassing me- I have no interest in communicating with you as you have a desire to make this personal and you are rude and abusive and like to swear a lot,

you are free to believe I am spreading harmful misinformation. I know that it is you , not me, who is doing so.

If I have provided no evidence, nothing to back my claims, you have no need to work so hard in trying to discredit them. People can read my posts and make up their own mind.

I think it was said earlier but is always worth repeating.

Ok the article says, 'The BSTc (Bed nucleus of the stria)
and sexually dimorphic nucleus of transgender women are more alike to those of cisgender women’s than those of cisgender men’s.'

However the findings of the research that is the source says - 'Untreated MtFs and FtMs who have an early onset of their gender dysphoria and are sexually oriented to persons of their natal sex show a distinctive brain morphology, reflecting a brain phenotype. These phenotypes are different from those of heterosexual males or females.'

The article also tries to suggest that transgenderism running in families (or in twins) means that TWAW. This is conflating two completely different things.

Sex is decided by genetics. It is not decided by what your brain is like or if other people in your family are also transgender.

Yes. Untreated brains were NOT conclusive and treated brains showed differences. We already know that female hormones change male brains and take on some resemblance of female brains. They are still male brains though with the same shape as male brains sitting inside a male skull.

If brains were even close to be a reliable indicator of gender dysphoria, they would be used for diagnosis. They are not used for diagnosis and this blog is not a reliable source of information.

@Tandora I don't believe you have a PHD

It could be true. Did you read any of the Tribunal Tweets from the recent Jo Phoenix vs The OU?

The lecturers were batshit crazy, one of them stated the the majority of the whole world accepted that TWAW. Deluded.

I think a lot of Universities are fully TWAW so it would not surprise me in the least.

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 07/11/2023 15:07

Human beings cannot change sex. They can have plastic surgery to remove breasts and create a neophallus, or to invert the penis to make a neovagina - but they cannot give a female a working biological male reproductive system, and the neovagina cannot do the things a vagina can - self clean, self lubricate, remain patent without being regularly stretched, or stretch to allow a whole baby to pass through and then return to its previous size.

No medication or surgery can change a male skeleton into a female one, or vice versa, or give someone the endocrine system, chromosomes or DNA of the opposite sex. And it is not only dishonest to tell children that changing sex is not only possible but easy and without any side effects, when done by adults in a position of trust, especially doctors or therapists, it is unethical.
