If my little girl is ‘struggling’ with puberty I’d do whatever it takes to help her find who she is and feel confident in her skin, including gender exploration

As many mothers have learned to their cost, "gender exploration" is easier said than done. What your daughter may get instead is "gender affirmation" - meaning that whatever your daughter says she is, that is what she truly is. Even if she is a child, even if she has other reasons for struggling with puberty. As you put it so neatly yourself "trans women are women" and there are plenty of people who will decide for you that your daughter is a boy and had better become one physically as soon as possible.

And here we are, fighting to replace "gender affirmation" with "gender exploration" without being accused of "conversion therapy".

The black and brown bit is a human shield. There isn't a genuinely worthy minority cause that isn't bandwagoned by the T. However, black and brown women speaking about issues like FGM are quickly told to STFU about their genital privilege.

you really don’t need to mansplain this to me. There is a (long process) underway for reforming: restructuring NHS services for children experiencing issues with gender. I know people working on it.

Where have women who have suffered FGM been told they have "genital privilege"? Very often, the same surgeons who are expert in helping victims of FGM are experts in MTF genital surgery.

Where did I say it was over? Like racism there will be ongoing battles to fight in some quarters but it is a fact though that public attitudes with regards to acceptance of the LGB community is light years ahead of what is was a couple of decades ago.

And what really isn’t working is shouting sterilizing children and mutilation at people who are trying to provide health services to improve the lives trans people.

They have female genitals that can be lopped off. TW see this as a privilege, and ask women who have suffered this procedure not to talk about it, because it triggers them.

Never been attacked by a trans woman. Never been sexually assaulted by a trans woman. Never had to change anything about where I walk or go because of a trans woman. Never had to repair my life after financial ruin by a trans woman.
Have had to do all these because of men.
Your trans hate is ugly. If you don't approve, just don't engage. Leave people alone. I don't approve of many things that don't affect me so I leave it alone and don't engage.
Have felt this way about the trans community since meeting my first trans woman in 1979 on a bus in London. So don't try and tell me I'm brainwashed either.

Right. You do realise that a "trans woman" is any male who declares at any time that he is a woman? The genetics of the matter is that they are not female, like women. They are males, and the word for an adult male human is not "woman".

Does it help, instead, for all young boys who might like pink things & do ballet to be gently coerced with kindness via their peers, social media, kids toys, cartoons & language policing into thinking they are trans? I mean, it cuts down on all the gays & bi/straight men who don't ascribe to gender norms amirite? I mean they MUST be trans cos being girly as boy is so embarrassing & shameful.
