changed their knicker styles? The style I have bought for years no longer exists. Have bought underwear from M&S forever, but have had to shop elsewhere.
Very disappointed!

@willWillSmithsmith Sorry just saw your edit about men's pants. I disagree tbh. Loads of women's underwear have bows on that don't need it and a lot of men's are no easier to tell.

The high rise shorts are exactly the same as the old midi. I used to buy the multipacks of 5 but the most recent ones I've bought have been really bad quality, the edging around the legs just falls apart. When I e-mailed M & S to complain they said to take them into one of their stores. I live 12 miles from a store and would have to pay for parking so for the price of a pack of knickers it's not worth it. I won't be buying them again.

I bought two packs of midi pants from M&S a few months ago, both in the same size.
One pack fit lovely, the other pack were more like shorts, didn't fit as well and didn't seem to have as much stretch in them, even after several washes. Very strange.
These TU brand that several of you have mentioned, where do I get them from please?

And you used to get a little mini biscuit with every hot drink, they stopped that too

I wear pants just like these, but mine are Nutmeg from Morrisons and less than half the price.

I read somewhere the bows are to help blind people know which is front and back. Whether that be true or not I don’t know but it seemed plausible to me then I realised that not all of my knickers have bows on.

There was a woman walking down the beach when we were on holiday who had her bikini bottoms on the wrong way. Needed a bow!

I think they do have them - they’ve just renamed them. I bought some a few weeks ago and they’re the same as my midis.

They stopped selling salmon with an olive topping. It was delicious. It might have been fifteen or twenty years ago. I'm still devastated.

My most missed item is ready meal Chicken Tikka Biryani. When Ocado were working with Waitrose it was a Waitrose item. Then when Ocado swapped to M&S it was an M&S item for a while but then it was discontinued. It was delicious and my favourite quick dinner - microwaved from frozen too!

@Cheeesus, M & S have said that they are the replacement for the midi and exactly the same. I have worn midi pants for years and was shocked when I couldn't find them at first. I didn't realise that there were so many other midi pants wearers out there.

I'm still sad that M&S discontinued their prawn and egg poppy seed roll. It was always my lunch treat if I went into town. And their three bean salad from c.1988. The one they sell now has a nasty fake taste to the dressing.

I loathe "shorts" with a passion. My buttocks eat them. If I wanted my pants disappearing up my bum I'd wear a g string.

Oh I so agree!! I thought it was just me who missed them! And I also hate the trend of having no elastic in the legs, damn things ride up into all sorts of uncharted territory!

They shrunk the gusset of the Brazilian knickers a while back, presumable cost saving. I buy my knickers in Sainsbury’s now

Midi were my favourite too, I thought I was imagining things and they were just out of stock. But I can't find them either.
So now I'm on the hunt to find a Midi replacement.
