Fed up of the smell

This is probably going to make me sound awful but my upstairs neighbour is driving me insane. Every bloody day, all day, she's smoking weed. The smell is driving me mad. I can't go out in my garden or open my windows. The smell just leaks in every window or door and I have two young children. Is there anything I can do about this? I generally stay out of things but this is starting to really eff me off.

No :( she scares the life out of me. She has screaming arguments with different people every night. She's also pregnant

Try and talk to her but that's all you can do

The one time I did try and talk to her she blew it in my face and said I needed to 'chill out'

I rang the anonymous line and told them but they said as long as she's not selling it or growing it then there's not much they can do! I'm completely clueless to all this stuff but that sounded wrong to me

Call her landlord if she's rented or the police. Normally I'd keep out of people's business but she sounds horrible, you're afraid of your own neighbour, and it's massively affecting your life. You should be able to enjoyable your own house

Yes, phone social services, her unborn baby is also taking that.
I don’t know the rules around weed, but I can’t imagine social services would be overjoyed by her smoking it pregnant and being so aggressive adults are scared of her.

I feel your pain, I have the same thing from the guy directly under me, the whole building smells vile.

I've found there are two types of weed smokers, the ones who have some regard for other people (like the guys that moved when I asked because their smoke was going into DS' pram while we were waiting at a bus stop) and the ones who don't give a shit. It sounds like you have the latter, and there's not really anything you can do about it. They just don't care unfortunately for the rest of us

Probably the easiest solution is to move, can you do that? Police won’t be interested and involving them will just give you an angry neighbour.

Tell the police the stench is far too much for her to just be smoking it (growing stinks btw)
